is the double element bonus still applying?

 

i remember i use holy cannon and excalibur on dark elem monster but no significant dmg boost i saw then.

 

since no one seems to bother.

 

ok, no more double element bugs for now.

 

just tested it recently.

my friend was reaching 200k Arm Cannon on randels, without anything special, neither kvm, so i guess it still applies

so when was that?

 

i've recently done gigantes instance, was using holy balls with ~32k cart cannons then popped aspers scrolls but still did ~32k.

 

i'm from thor server btw, so i guess different mechanics from diff servers?

 

or rather the bug was only fixed for CC but not AC? haven't tried it on AC, i dont have acces to mecha.

 

maybe someone here can confirm?

Guys for vulcan arm, what about a 3 kick and kick naght sieger? In iro its realy easy to get 190 aspd, i think that a 3xkick and kick twin red with 2x bako tats(or merchant medals) will overpass dmg of 1x kick and kick pile bunker S, lvl 4 too, and as i saw WATK don't REALY increase THAT MUCH dmg for arm vulcan.

Pile buncker [S] is still the best. It's hard to ignore that pile bunkers have 400+ base dmg and [1] slot.

wATK is a huge deal for all mechanic damage skills, even those that use weapon weight/str/dex/vit in the formula. 

 

Don't disregard that the pilebunker's gigantic base atk value gives a huge bonus for a high STR char, which I imagine all mech builds will be (unless you're a dedicated SD WoE alt.) 

 

Vulcan Arm is a total missed opportunity to have a nice supporting skill. 

 

If I was unilateral dictator I would do a few things. First, I'd change it (and nearly all other mech skills) to scale with base level at 1:1 instead of the current 5:6, and would change the formula to be: Atk % = (Skill Level * 100 atk) + (30 * Remodel Mainframe Level) + (Dex * 1). 

 

But if I had such power, I'd first make it so Arm Cannon's AOE doesn't shrink as you use higher levels, as that's just a slap to the face.
