3. Run "C:\Gravity\Ragnarok Online\Ragexe" 1rag1

or "C:\Gravity\Ragnarok Online\Ragexe"-1rag1 if the previous one didn't work.

This is a temporary fix and will not allow new client things to DL and can still cause issues especially with the monsters that are now spawning... So this won't be a good fix and can cause client crashes atm.

Hi guys, I did this and it worked

1. Open your data folder (ex>C:\Gravity\Ragnarok Online\data) and find hidechat.dll and hidevend.dll
2. Cut these files and put in somewhere else outside your ragnarok folder (this is for back up too as well)
3. Run "C:\Gravity\Ragnarok Online\Ragexe" 1rag1

or "C:\Gravity\Ragnarok Online\Ragexe"-1rag1 if the previous one didn't work.

note that you should change the destination/directory folder to your ragnarok directory folder

Please be aware that this is just a temporary solution. Sorry for my english, lol
Hope this help

ALL HAIL THE KING!!!THANKS BRO!!XD

Also if you're missing steam_api.dll

http://inubashiri.ae...d/steam_api.dll

Put it in your RO directory

If you're getting the MS...100.dll error just get this and install it.

32bit: http://www.microsoft...ls.aspx?id=5555

64bit: http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=14632

Not really, you just dont get it i guess, I meant click start>>run>> type C:\Gravity\Ragnarok Online\Ragexe" 1rag1 and hit enter
This is for bypassing the patcher. Well to be honest i don't think gm/cm would like if i post how to bypass the patcher. :p_swt:

and yeah thanks, double clicking ragnarok shortcut would work for step 3.

Keep in mind that this is just a temporary solution, please undo it later.

General 1/29 patch problem solutions:

This "solution" is not recommended - the other fixes _should_ solve the problem in a better way.

Also, step 3 is totally unnecessary if the client is fully patched when you started, as the patcher is nowhere near smart enough to notice that you vanished those files.

both solutions didn't work..download from link provided. It says a newer version of microsoft C++ thingy has been detected. Thus cannot continue the installation.

Tried to cut those 2 files n put em outside the gravity folders and run ragexe.

Still give me the MSVCR100.DLL problem.

Please help!!!!

Why fixing something that is not broken and all hell break loose....

Reinstalling RO and still didn't work.

Please help!!! Reimburse back VIP days that i cannot login..

Have him install from website,  Steam will recognize the client anyways if hes worried about people not seeing him play.  I personally WOULDN'T run it through steam... And haven't had major issues that didn't get fixed pretty quickly... If its an ongoing thing that breaks every week, maybe its Steam.  Have im try DLing it from the iRO website, then run it with steam OFF as an ADMIN.  I right click all the .exes and the installer and make sure it is set as admin on start...
