i just downloaded the client from website(twice)
i tried unistalling/reinstalling(4 times)

i tried running as admin etc..

 

but my client,both classic and renewal crash after patch_allow.txt  5/5

 

 

any idea how to fix this?

already checked this , that is not my issue, my patcher doesnt even get past patch_allow.txt 5/5

Is Internet Explorer working? The updater uses it to download updates and display notices.

yea IE seems to be working fine, do i need to update it or something?

Do you have any antivirus software running? As a test, disable it and see if the patcher runs.

the only stupid antivirus i have is the default microsoft one, turned it off and tried, doesnt help either

Oh, missing VC runtime does that? 

 

Also, I think you need the x86 version - not x64, unless the x64 version includes both x86 and x64 runtime libraries (I don't know if it does). The patcher is a 32-bit application, so it uses 32-bit libraries.

also i find no other options so i ask

can someone compress and upload thier RO installed folder?

i know my client is fine since i bypassed the patch and the client was working fine.

its just the patcher

 

so yea if anyone could do that it would help alot

downloaded IE 11 and retstarted pc, issue solved
