Mora and Dicaste Boards are doing the same thing too. Where if you choose to turn in for ALL the kill count exp and choose only base exp, it will just split it into base/job exp.

 

Thought they fixed it so didn't bother to turn in one by one. plus its reeally tedious and eats up bmx3 time

The exp from the scarabs bounty are kinda low. Even with VIP, I got only a mere 4% after finishing all 4 bountys.

exp being low in and of itself isn't necessarily a problem. it's supposed to give you 75% of the total exp you would get from killing all 600 mobs (if you're doing a complete turn in). depending on your level you may very well only get 4%, even at VIP.

unless you provide some additional information (like how much exp you received, what level you are, etc) we can't really tell if there's an issue here.

Currently in the process of reevaluating the script being used on the boards since the current one keeps breaking stuff. I have a feeling the redone script will anger lovers of Gramps-type leveling.

That aside, I've been bouncing around another idea for the Bounty Boards. Instead of EMBs, the Bounty Boards should award Bounty Tokens, which can be exchanged for character-bound enchantable gears. There would be an exchange NPC implemented for people who would like to exchange Bounty Tokens for EMBs. (Not sure on the exchange rate since the Bounty Board script is still being reevaluated.)

The Bounty gears themselves would be comparable to Eden Group gears and the enchants would help enhance non-mainstream builds. Enchants would be done by an NPC name Gustav Kube located at the old blacksmith shop in Geffen. Non-VIPs would have to pay Bounty Tokens in order to reset their gear, but VIPs can reset their gear for free. Bounty gears can only get 1 enchant each and would be wearable by all job classes, including the neglected expanded classes.

I'm new here. This is a noob question but I'm doing the low level bounty at geffen(21-50). I just wanted to know if I need to finish all 8 bounties to get an EMB?

Currently don't have an ETA for a fix since the boards' script is getting reevaluated. If it's bugged, he can at least get some EXP out of it by turning them in one by one.

Please dont take away EMB rewards from Bounty. High level character who cant do gramps anymore will need this bounty rewards to get their dream KVM weapon n gear. And am enjoying 3 EMB rewards upon turn in all scaraba count with vip acc.

BUT would like to report scaraba bounty is bugged upon turn in. It gives both exp to base n job although u choose to seperate it. Also i tried turn in all bio2 counts, same bug happened. I believe other player xperience d same. And d latest i experience these 2 boards bug is last night. Nothing fix upon maintenance though i sent tickect much earlier

in addition to the ticket, you can post about this in the tiki tues threads that oda has every week. even better if you had a screenshot showing the error. any other boards with this issue besides bio2 and scaraba? is this happening with the mora boards too?

Thanks necro. Actually dont really want to raise ticket issue here as i believe d department will do their job later. I just want to contribute reporting any issue related to BB. I never do mora bounty yet so no idea. But for me i can confirm those scaraba and bio2 only coz ive been doing it minimum 2 turn in everyday.

(I include d screen shot in ticket so hopefully they know what' happening)

yeah, the only guild dungeon monster hunting quest is only the daily quest one. which rewards a whooping 200k exp per day for killing set of monsters, and a whooping woe coin. What a waste

 

btw i still never got acid terrored by am mut, dunno why one hour there he never use that skill

also acid terror is only used when chasing so if he was on u the entire time no need for him to use it

I like the Bounty Board idea, wish it would be an equally attractive leveling option to Gramps, but hey...you can't have it all. While Gramps TI are super fast they can be also pretty taxing and can bring out the worst in players.

 

It would be great if there was a way to boost the Bounties in the Mid TI range...usually Mid TI is a desolate wasteland and you can just die by waiting for a party (hardly anyone recruits at Eden), not to mention lv101-125 has been described as a plateau phase. I think that if Bounties were a somewhat equal option, players would be more attracted to them and maybe boost the popularity of Bounty Boards for more higher levels.

 

Unto the testing: I have done the Kobold bounties (except Kobold Archer) so here are the Exp and Job exp results.

 

Lv 107 character (No Battle Manual, no exp boosting perks of any kind)

 

Axe Kobold          255,825 Exp/191,925 JobExp

Hammer Kobold  218,700 Exp/164,025 JobExp

Mace Kobold       205,425 Exp/153,125 JobExp

 

Non-VIP: No issues with Exp and Job Exp allocation.

 

Overall feedback: Quest seems appropiate, the Kobold maps are easy to reach from Lighthalzen than from Rachel. Decent amount of spawns in Rachel Field 05 (no Kobold Archers which have their highest and only spawn in Rachel Field 06) which allows to find places to rest and regain HP/SP. Solo players can just go around edges of the map. Don't know about the difficulty of Kobold Archers but the complete Board can be done w/o much traveling. And Blue Hair dropped from the mobs has a resell value of more than 150 zenny, giving a nice addition to the monetary reward.

unfortunately I've found that issues are addressed MUCH faster in the tiki tues thread. I raised your problem in this weeks thread and Oda stated that he would try to fix this week. Now in the maint thread, he has listed this as an issue that should be resolved!

Choosing to collect ALL bounty reward then putting the exp into all base option is working fine for Bio2 and Scaraba Boards.

 

Mora Board, on the other hand, is still busted and giving both base/job exp if you choose the all into base exp option.
