Only Stat-Food? Or healing items? Can I bake a well-baked cookie or maybe a Caviar Pancake?

I'm guessing it's fine as long as it's edible. Like Ramen Hat?
N> Cein to confirm.

I was gonna make something today but it's entirely too hot to have an oven on, it'll have to wait +__+

I'm either going to make Herb Marinade Beef or Incredibly Spicy Curry. Depends on what kind of decorative dishware I can find ^^

I just realized, with this contest...I can pull out my good Japanese knife again...since I want it to look all pretty, and perfect.

I'm pretty sure that Cein's intention was for people to have fun and create foods inspired by Ragnarok Online specifically for the contest, not for people to re-submit things they've already made as an afterthought just because it happened to fit the description of an existing item.
This is something tantamount to re-using a paper you've already written for another class. Sure, it's your work and you're not hurting anybody, but in most institutions(or at least in my college) it is still considered plagiarism and is very much frowned upon.
It's really just common sense to practice honesty when entering contests. Other participants took the time to buy, prepare, and make food, why didn't she? If she's already made this before then she could have just as easily made it again for the contest. If you're saying she's pressed for time then she probably shouldn't have entered the contest a full week and a half before it ended.
Cute contest though, ceinchase! Will definitely be participating once I get over my indecisiveness.

i'm not sure about you but when i read
The Challenge:
Bake/Cook/Mix an iRO food or drink in real life and post a picture
the obvious thing that comes to mind is that it is to be created from this point on. it does not read baked/cooked/mixed
Moment when you pulling out your cake from the oven, its "baked" idk what you talking about honestly. Its more of categories than what you think it is. If anything, it should've been "Bakery/Cookery/Mixed Drink" Or, "Something you baked/Cooked/Mixed an iRO food or drink in real life from the start of the event till the end of the event, and post a pictures showing your process, and an end result."

. Maybe then the guy who submitted the picture for the Windows XP default background shouldn't have sent it in when Microsoft was asking for pictures because hey, guess what, it wasn't taken after the date Microsoft announced it's "competition", it was taken years before!!
if you are talking about the famous bliss background, pretty sure he never submitted the drawing to them based on any competition. it was uploaded to some site for potential liscencing agreements to anyone. they (microsoft) saw the picture and then wanted to buy complete rights to it

To clarify: To enter into this contest, the entries must be made AFTER the beginning of the contest. I am sorry if an entry would be difficult to replicate, but it is not fair to people who have been cooking under the deadline to use old photos.
I am cleaning up the thread. Please remain on topic, this was quite a bit of fun and I would hate for it to be derailed.

I kind of wish the CM would clean up this thread a bit because it has turned from a fun contest into an attack on someone's entry. =\ And I never liked attacking people in public anyways until I feel I have better understanding what is going on... These matter should have been brought up in private. I feel bad for her even if she is in the wrong. She was clearly excited in joining but lack the understanding and knowledge how contests and events on forums is run. Besides, she seems really new on the forum.
Try and keep the thread clean please.
CM may feel free to remove my post too. And since this is the first time the event is run, it's understandable the rules aren't too clear for some people while it's commonsense to others.
It's not shaming when you come into a public forum and lie.
You would feel drastically different if this was an art contest and someone was using one of your drawings.
Feigning ignorance isn't an excuse for blatant lying. They got greedy and wanted a headgear, but I caught them.
So don't blame anyone but the guilty party.
