Longtime Canadian pro wrestler and victim of the infamous "Montreal Screwjob" Bret Hart was born on this day in 1957. Born to wrestler and trainer Stu Hart, Bret trained with his father throughout his childhood. Through high school and college he decided to focus on professional wrestling. He joined the WWF in the 80s, participating in Wrestlemania II alongside Andre the Giant and many other legends. Through the years he would amass many awards and be celebrated as one of the best technical wrestlers around, taking part in many of the biggest events during pro wrestling's heyday. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006 and still makes appearances on WWE from time to time.
