it drops in lava golem o. o (thats wat i heard) in OT, yeah last times was in moon brother n sister (old moments (3 days full farming :3 .... miss dat)), but devs changed soo yah might be in lava golems @.@ (too easy for get them :c not funneh)

I actually will love to know for sure, I always trougth there drop in FT in luna, but some ppl in-game told me to now it was in a atemple (but call it a language barrier) they told it was in orlo? I was like O_o really? because the only temple in orlo is the one to takes you to the OT in Junon..., rigth? also I had kill lots of lava when leveling an never saw any of those?, maybe I neeed to go and farm there with a lowbie.... "again" XD

if char A has equip set with gem drop bonus, max drop +, etc and char B without any gem. does the drop is determine by first hitter basis or who deal more damage or more complex mechanism?

Drops are not determined until the monster has been defeated.  Once the monster has been defeated, the stats (gems, set bonuses, medals, etc) of the player who had the first hit are used to influence drop rate and quantity.

So according to this, say it takes 15 minutes for a player to kill a king. Should they start the combat, and wait until the king is almost dead and then pop a medal? And is it the same with Experience odifiers

I always start my medal when the boss has 1% HP left, and it works.

Does anyone know what mobs drop Killer Leaves? I was told Gargoyles do, but I have yet to see one drop.

You could try the melts perhaps? Maybe the sikuku melee's [the ones with the axes]. Aside from those maybe nepenthes? Trying to think idealy what would make sense for them to drop from.

I did try Nepenthes, and unless Killer Leaves are a really rare drop, I never got one from them either. Keep in mind, I do not have any drop gems, drop suits, nor medals.

You shouldn't need them, they're common grade drop. All materials [for the most part] are in that tier. It should be a map drop, most likely on shady jungle? the one before ruins + prison. I'd check myself but noone got time for that.

After the changes to the drops, I've found them from Nepenthes and Sikuku Gargoyle Hunters at a really rare rate. Sikuku Gargoyle Fighter and Sikuku Gargoyle Shaman also drops them too, but I've never got any from the Sikuku Gargoyles.

 

Sikuku Butcher, Tracker, Spearman, and the other axe/spear wielding types drops Sikuku Costume.

 

I think the new uncommon gem (Umbite Baguette, I think) rare gem (Raspite Round) may help with the drop rate as I did pick up a tad more Eudy Wing Pieces and Nymph Essence from the Eudy/Orphe types than without.

I did think of the plant thing, which is why I went for Nepenthes. Now that I know it's a rare drop, I can put more time aside for farming them. If Sikuku [anything] are not plants, then why do some Sikuku things drop Killer Leaves?

No, medals are on a different drop system entirely. No bonus medals premium, costumes or cookies will help you farm them faster.
