Now I'm confused.. It's the same name but this has yellow words on top.. ^.^ It's really convincing... Or am I missing something?

Oda was making a joke in facekillers screenshot. But he would never make anyone a GM. He doesn't have that kind of power only the head of the GM team does.

They just type out Oda's name and use word wrap to make it appear as if they were him.

These people are all amateurs. The trick is to do this on a cloaking char while you have a GM mercenary out. Then just sit back and watch all the expensive items and sexual favors pour in

Now I know why he is asking his victims if they are asians. He is one. His name  literally means crazy. he doesnt speak english well so maybe he wants to talk in his language.

It just happened to me yesterday. The same question he did to me. I didn't know who's Oda until I message the "real" Oda today. According to that question, he's probably asking that as the main idea and use it as an assumption to get the players and make believe that he is really "Oda" it sounds sarcastic though, because why would you ask a player if he's or she's from asia? Like come on. This game is international. It's not just "Asians" who plays Ragnarok lol

There's a lot of different asian languages out there, so just being asian doesn't mean the scammer would be able to communicate in his/her tongue.

hes NOT looking for asians... if you say youre not from asia thats when he starts his scam... hes prolly working for a  scam ring and they want to make sure they dont try scamming each other...

Good question, I would like to know as well.

 

I would have assumed it was for profiling reasons or something (e.g: Asians are easier to scam or some such), but I really am curious.

 

Maybe he/she is Asian and will not scam his/her own kin...

 

Again curious, but It's probably something I can live without knowing.

doesnt matter what the characters name is... they are using characters theyve stolen from other people... its like body hopping... when one gets banned they jump into another stolen character and attempt to steal a "new body"...

"Body hopping" ...true but there was one time when, cant remember who it was i think it was camp. he said the scammer was a newly created level 1 novice on a newly created account. i guess that time he ran out of bodies and so desperate that he had to make one.

I was in a 7 person chat room that was recruiting for a high TI, when one of these people came in and tried to act like a GM.

Nobody even looked at him or said a word to him, and we all went on with our group, and he sat there alone in the chat by himself.  He was still sitting there alone with the chat box up after our party was done 20 minutes later.  I felt a little sad for him tbh haha.
