Even after the update the classic client is still bugging for me.

The letters/words are all strange, like they are lower resolution.

Here's a screen for better explanation.

Notice that the game itself is normal, but all descriptions, names, chat etc is strange, this makes the game unplayable for me

 

This doesn't happen on Renewal client, only on Classic. I tried changing the setup options and nothing works.

Getting ton of sprite error and korean text since last maint. And by the way why it take some much tries to get the patcher to patch. So annoying.

For people plagued with noclientinfofile!!

 

make a shortcut to clragexe.exe and add -1old1 on the end

use after running the patcher once.

 

example:

 

"C:\Gravity\Ragnarok Online\clragexe.exe" -1old1

 

This bypasses the patcher and thus the error doesn't happen. Use responsibly and don't forget to patch every time before using it, just incase.

It will be in the next maintenance thread but in 2015 we're going to be enforcing a more strict "no guild drama on the boards" policy. We'll be politely asking for those discussions to travel to fan forums and will be putting longer and longer probations on folks who do not follow that policy. 

 

I think you need to realize that the woe situation is killing classic.  We want it to improve so that more people will play but if my guild is the only guild capable of fighting a certain alliance and I'm bored and leave (probably will) then what the eff do you expect new comers to do?

 

Most games do balance tweaks and meta adjustments to prolong the games longevity. If we can't work it out between ourselves (the players) because the guildleaders are sad panda about the situation and would rather report/cry than look at how to improve things,  then it's up to YOU as GAME MANAGERS to do something and make the game desirable to play for your player base.

 

Think about it, please. I know that you never listen but the server WILL DIE without something changing. Up until now the guildleaders involved have actually spoken to eachother in terms of remaining allied/fighting to make the environment enjoyable. WELL GUESS WHAT ODA? Those players have left for a pserver. Yeah. One with more players. One that is advertized. One that is promoted. One that actually does something about botting/nodelay/autopotting/cheating. (tho bad manner seems fine lolololol)

How is it that I can see the same people reported over and over for cheating/duped items and nothing changes? The only thing we have left is having fun and..... You know what's not fun? The current situation.

 

You have ~40 people allied against ~12.

 

Do something.

It's not my job to feel obligated to log on for WoE to help this small guild. I already have all my god items and I dislike the situation greatly enough to not care. RESETTING ECONS ISNT MY RESPONSIBILITY! STOPPING THE SERVER FROM BEING FLOODED WITH GODS SO WE CANT HAVE NEW PLAYERS STARTING UP ISN'T MY JOB EITHER! PVMING GUARDIANS IS NOT FUN.

 

You never respond or  show the slightest concern for competitiveness on classic. The only time we get replies is if someone makes some sci-fi/anime post that is completely unrelated.

 

edit: When this kind of situation happened on renewal, they even got a stickied topic. Now just because the majority of the people on this server are already quit/refusing to woe doesn't mean it matters less. ACCCCTUALLY I think you'll find indifference to WoE matters MORE!

Renewal were allowed to talk it out, I think Classic should be allowed to, as well. AND IF THEY DON'T WANT TO TALK, maybe you should step in and acknowledge the situation.

I'm all for this. However it can be fairly hard to discuss the state of things without bringing up what's actually happening. Can you give some examples of what may/may not be acceptable for some borderline situations.

 

^ is obviously not acceptable, but there's also plenty of situations where people are going to be baiting each other into starting something. Hopefully we can keep this -_- off the forums, good luck!
