If you would know the Rewards last time, they make Reward of 20 Mora Coins which can be Farmed too, which i would like to change it.

 

Many Rewards before are really bad

 

I attended the Raffle last time (Then we had that MMOBomb contest and went to try out Mabinogi).

 

The big prize was Kafra Blossom Card (KBC), the others were consumables like Yggdrasil Berries and materials like Witch Star Sand.

 

Did players complained about the Raffle prizes? No.

Oh look, more people chiming at the idea of their precious investments losing value. Why am I not surprised? Thank you for proving my point.

The entire purpose of the raffle in the first place is to delete zeny from the server, using enticing prizes as bait. As someone who has multiple billion zeny in disposable wealth, I can say that I already own everything I need and could possibly want out of this game. Me, and other multi billionaires like me, would need very good prizes in order for us to participate in this zeny deletion event. We "rich people" are the ones holding a majority of the server's zeny, zeny this event hopes to consume in large portion. This makes us the prime target of a zeny sink. You will need more than simple MCA's, and KBC's to lure us into dropping major Z into this raffle, as those items are seen as mere useless junk to us.

Casino slot machines are successful at prying money out of people's hands, because their grand prize is tens of thousands of dollars. I highly doubt casinos would be in business for very long if their "grand prize" was something easily attainable by just about everyone. I do not want a loaf of bread as my grand prize. Warpportal please.

Maybe you could make it: 1 out of 10,000 odds of winning. 1 million zeny per ticket. Winner takes home a Dracula/Orc Lord/Turtle General card or some other mid tier MvP. I would play.

It doesn't have to be Brynhilds per say. That was just something suggested. Just give the prizes a bit more WOW factor than common items usually used in raffle events. How about Asprikas? Since nobody seems to care about those anyway.

The way they should look at it is the grand prize should "cost" the server on average 90% to 110% of its value.

 

So if an item is worth 500m, 1/500 chance and 1m an attempt is reasonable. All the losses are gravy for players at that point in the long run, it's worth doing. Or 1/5000 at 100k an attempt. etc.

I saw a people name almost same like you selling GTB shield for 21b in eden. You also wear a pharaoh headgear, deviant faw and 2 meg. Okay, my offer for you, after this zeny sink event ended, and if your gtb shield is still available, could you sell it to me maybe for 10b? Because total zennies on server is decreased, or would you sell it higher price since zeny become more valuable? So, what thing do you lose and what thing do you gain?

 

The context of zeny sink by raffler after considering 10 years worth and high end market in this game is retarded. Zennies need to circulate more not 'removed'.

The Raffle event will not deflate the market as you may be thinking it would everyone.  

 

The rich will get richer, and the poor will get poorer.  You ever see men in suits and rolls royce driving up to a gas station to buy lottery tickets?  No.

 

 

 

Ok, this is a game.  Entirely different.  I get your point.  With the exception of a insanely rich veteran player that is about to perma-quit this game and go all in in the raffle, name me one person with over 10b that will go true to their word that they will blow 99% of they assets and zeny on this hoping to win big.

 

Yea...thought not.

 

 

This raffle event if what I think it is will hurt the poor and new alike more than help it.
