NOTE: This guide is still under construction!
Last Update: 29/09/2015
First of all this guide is not the "one and only way" to success with a twin fighter, but I try to show as many ways to play as possible.
But as long as I gained some experience and there is no twin fighter guide, I'd like to make one to help in playing the class and maybe I can even encourage some people to give this class a (second) chance.
If you are struggling whether you create a twin or not, I just got one thing to say: I love this class.

Twin Fighters defeat their enemy by launching extremely fast combo attacks. The class consists of twin characters, one attacking with her fists and the other with her feet. Ability to use multiple close range attacking skills at a high rate makes them a very effective damage dealer.

I hope I don't destroy your dreams or illusions but if you play the twin fighter it won't be like always casting 2 skills at the same time for an insane damage output. The main damage you are dealing is done by your twin as your main has a lack of competitive skills. This sounds like the twin does all the work, while you are running around waiting to cast 1 or 2 of your skills, but it doesn't feel like that and it's still fun though.
Why two types of PvE? Actual I found two ways for PvE and I'll explain in how far they differ from each other:
Type I is for people who like to have less skills but with lower CDs(=Cooldowns). Type II is for the other ones who like to have more skills but with slightly higher CDs.
I don't know if there is even a 3rd or 4th way to skill but actual I can only confirm that these two will work very well. Maybe I will add one or two more ways but for that I need to raise my second twin fighter first, since I don't got tons of reskills.
Note for the PvP-way to skill:
I didn't play PvP much until now, so my experience with this class is kinda low and the way to skill is only a suggestion based on my knowledge about the skills. I can't say at the moment, if there is a better way or how good this way works.
I also didn't try the majority of PvP-relevant skills so I can't really tell you how good they are but I am still working on it, so please be patient, I'll do my best to update this part continuously.

=> orange background = skill performed by your main [exception: Jumeaux skills got orange background too but will be performed by your main and twin together)
=> green background = skill performed by your twin
=> red background = skill can only be performed in Fusion status
=> round symbol = passive skill
PvE I [0/1]* ||| PvE II [0/1]* ||| PvP [1/1]
=> * means you can get this skill but only with additional Skill Points from Hunter G Capsules for example
One Sword, One Cut Throw punch towards ground, making enemies fall down.
-> only required for the following skills, not recommend to use it in any way or to skill it further then Lv. 1 => PvE I [1/5] ||| PvE II [1/5] ||| PvP [1/5]
Power Fist Throw a powerful punch to enemies solar plexus. Attacks enemies with inflicting Stun.
-> PvP Skill. Until Lv. 5 the CD gets lower each Lv., but only until Lv. 5 so going further that point, isn't necessary.
-> for PvE it's not needed in any way. Sometimes it's more comfortable in F7 but as far as I experienced it you will only use it for fun => PvE I [1/5] ||| PvE II [1/5] ||| PvP [5/5]
Tornado Spin By spinning in a face pace, raise the body an attack enemies in air 6 times.
-> you won't use air combos with your twin. Only to bridge the lack of skills until ~Lv 45-50, so you shouldn't waste SP(=Skill Points) => PvE I [1/5] ||| PvE II [1/5] ||| PvP [1/5]
Bunker Buster Attack standing or fallen enemies with a strong kick from the air towards the ground and launch them into the air.
-> you won't use air combos with your twin. Only to bridge the lack of skills until ~Lv 45-50, so you shouldn't waste SP
-> sadly you need to skill it to 3/5 as a prerequisite for following Twin skills. => PvE I [3/5] ||| PvE II [3/5] ||| PvP [3/5]
[MC] Metal Fist Increases ATK by 2% each Skill-Lv.
-> 10% ATK for 50SP? Go get it!
--> 10% on total ATK? Yes, confirmed!
--> since PvP required a lot of SP you may leave it at Lv. 1 => PvE I [5/5] ||| PvE II [5/5] ||| PvP [1-5/5]
Weaving Allows player to move forward in a very fast speed. While skill is active, the user is invincible.
-> more useful in PvP but also in PvE you can dodge some heave boss attacks with the right timing. Anyway you can't skip this skill.
-> for PvP: use it wisely and especially fair! => PvE I [1/1] ||| PvE II [1/1] ||| PvP [1/1]
[MC] Spin Kick Perform a powerful spin kick against standing enemies and push them back.
-> only a prerequisite for following skills, maybe you can use it in early Lvs to crowd monsters.together. => PvE I [1/5] ||| PvE II [1/5] ||| PvP [1/5]
[MC] Rocket Blow Perform a powerful spin kick against standing enemies and throw them into the air.
-> you won't use air combos with your twin. Only to bridge the lack of skills until ~Lv 45-50, so you shouldn't waste SP
-> sadly you need to skill it to 3/5 as a prerequisite for following skills. => PvE I [3/5] ||| PvE II [3/5] ||| PvP [3/5]
[MC] Dragon Kick Perform a powerful kick against standing enemies causing knock back and knock down.
-> good damage with only 5 seconds CD on max Lv. If you use it in PvP only 3/5 to save SP for more important skills. => PvE I [5/5] ||| PvE II [5/5] ||| PvP [3/5]
[MC] Non Stop Kicking Perform a swift kick towards standing enemies 4-6 times (matters on Skill-Lv.).
-> tempting to skill it for PvE. But you will have a lack of SP at ~ Lv 30 then and got to leave out better skills or use one reskill scroll. => PvE I [0/5] ||| PvE II [0/5] ||| PvP [0/5]
=> if you want to use a reskill scroll so early feel free to skill since it isn't a bad skill but I wouldn't recommend it
Rapid Stance Increases evade and accuracy by 10%.
-> either doesn't work properly or only effects base stats => PvE I [0/1] ||| PvE II [0/1] ||| PvP [0/1]
Infinite Turning Kick Perform a spinning kick against standing enemies, pushing them back and knocking them down. Higher levels widen the range of the skill.
-> good damage and great to get spread monsters into a crowd to finish them with other skills (crowd control). Rarely used in PvP
respectively not worth maxing it
-> to be honest you will mainly use this skill up to ~ Lv. 45-50 but even afterwards it's still very useful when your timing is right!
--> you can also reskill to save 60 SP for more useful skill but I like this skill so everybody has to decide whether it's worth it or not => PvE I [5/5] ||| PvE II [5/5] ||| PvP [1/5] => with reskill: PvE I [1/5] ||| PvE II [1/5] ||| PvP [1/5]
Hyper Knee Kick Perform a fast and strong knee kick, penetrating standing enemies in a line.
-> not useful since it's better to avoid knocked down enemys as a twin fighter (there is on exception)
-> needs to be 3/5 for following skills => PvE I [3/5] ||| PvE II [0/5] ||| PvP [3/5]
Dragon Uppercut Duck down, run forward and attack up to 3 standing or airborne enemies with a jump uppercut.
-> as for some skills: no air combo. It hits standing enemies too but the damage isn't worth it and enemies will be knocked down.
-> maybe useful until ~Lv. 45-50 but you won't have enough SP for it and it's not worth the reskill scroll => PvE I [0/5] ||| PvE II [0/5] ||| PvP [0/5]
Fusion Enter Fusion status by becoming one with the twin. Increased movespeed, attack speed and critical rate. Cooldown for all skil reduced. Consumes MP per second. Twin-active skills cannot be performed while in Fusion status.
-> you don't skill Fusion for getting the buffing effect. It's mainly for this case: when your twin gets knocked down you can port him next to you with turning Fusion on and off. For PvE it's sometimes useful when your twin is stuck and an edge or stairs, but you can also get this effect with hitting spacebar so you can save 20 SP.
-> max it for PvP for a lower CD and to get Mirage Fusion skills (espacially 'Ghost Fighter') => PvE I [0/3] ||| PvE II [0/3] ||| PvP [3/3]
Rage Decreases MP usage, increases movespeed and attack rate while in Fusion status.
-> 45SP for 20% reduced MP usage and 3% movement speed and attack rate only in Fusion status? No, thanks. => PvE I [0/3] ||| PvE II [0/3] ||| PvP [0/3]
Definite Defence For 1.5 seconds, become invincible. After 1.5 seconds, receive a Lv3 Critical Rate buff.
-> useful for PvE and PvP. For PvE only skill it if you got additional SP. For PvP just get it and use it wisely and especially fair! => PvE I [0/1] ||| PvE II [0/1] ||| PvP [1/1]
Impact Blow Attack standing enemies, with 25% chance to inflict Stun and Breath Difficulty (decreases DEF and evade)
-> no use in PvE. Stun sounds tempting for PvP but 25% chance is too risky to use it since you'll probably get catched => PvE I [0/3] ||| PvE II [0/3] ||| PvP [0/3]
Release Fighter Force By releasing the fighting force around the body, attack standing or fallen enemies 3-7 times (matters on Skill-Lv.).
-> to be honest the skill deals good damage and could be useful for PvE and PvP, but the 14 seconds cooldown and the SP amount for the prerequisites and the skill is too high (140 SP -> Definite Defence + Impact Blow + Release Fighter Force) => PvE I [0/5] ||| PvE II [0/5] ||| PvP [0/5]
Spin Bomb By concentrating the force into the end of the foot, fires two penetrating objects.
-> two hits with average damage, so not useful in higher Lvs but you can bridge some CDs in lower Lvs.
-> sadly it needs to be 3/5 for following skills => PvE I [3/5] ||| PvE II [3/5] ||| PvP [3/5]
Rolling Grable Roll toward front and perform a sliding chop, attacking standing enemies and make them fall down.
-> avoid to knock down enemies? Here's the exception!
--> deals good damage against bosses in "Groggy" status or bosses which can't be knocked down. Also a good start for a combo (go to combo suggestions)
--> got a good range too so you can get rid of some monsters who survived a combo without running too far back => PvE I [5/5] ||| PvE II [5/5] ||| PvP [0/5]
Smash Kick Jump up to the enemies in air, and smash kick them to the ground.
-> as for some skills: no air combo. => PvE I [0/5] ||| PvE II [0/5] ||| PvP [0/5]
Spirit Spear Attack standing enemies with a charging spin attack.
-> two hits with average damage, so not useful in higher Lvs but you can bridge some CDs in lower Lvs.
-> sadly it needs to be 3/5 for following skills => PvE I [3/5] ||| PvE II [3/5] ||| PvP [3/5] <- will be 6/5 with a necklace.
Slide Kicking Sliding towards front and attack standing or fallen enemies with low continuous kicks.
-> my favourite skill: good range, massive damage, hits fallen enemies, just great for PvE and PvP!
-> only 3/5 for PvP since higher Lvs only increase the amount of attacked enemies and for PvP you need to save every SP you can => PvE I [5/5] ||| PvE II [5/5] ||| PvP [3/5]
The Ring from Hell Summon a Ring from Hell. Decreases movespeed and attack speed in the Ring's range. Debuff is disabled once the enemy leaves the ring.
-> don't skill it for F7. It's simply a waste of SP for that purpose
-> for PvP I need to experiment more with the skill to find out which Skill-Lv. is needed / worth the SP => PvE I [0/5] ||| PvE II [0/5] ||| PvP [0-5/5]
Heavy Blow Don't let the description fool you! It adds 60% critical rate on max. Lv.!
-> 50% critical rate for 60 SP? In my opinion: totally worth it! => PvE I [3/3] ||| PvE II [3/3] ||| PvP [0-3/3]
Power Weaving While the skill is active, the user is invincible. Casting this skill initiates 'Immersion' buff, increasing aim and critical damage.
-> more useful in PvP but also in PvE you can dodge some heave boss attacks with the right timing.
--> only for PvE I since it's needed for Breath Control. Why Breath Control only for PvE I? Read the part for Breath Control below and if you remember the difference between type I and II you'll know why
-> for PvP: use it wisely and especially fair!
--> just a little note: this skill is banned in BSQ/EW for good reasons! => PvE I [3/3] ||| PvE II [0/3] ||| PvP [3/3]
Dodge Mastery Increases evade by 15% on max. Lv.
-> not needed for PvP since evade isn't that useful (my experience since the change on it, correct me if I am wrong)
-> sadly, you need to max this skill for Breath Control too => PvE I [5/5] ||| PvE II [0/5] ||| PvP [5/5]
Breath Control Reduces cooldown for all skills by 1.5 seconds on max Lv.
-> 1.5 seconds lowered CD for all skills? Awesome and the key for PvE I!
-> why not for PvP? well, it's simple mathematics -> implied Power Weaving is already on Lv.1 you still need 190SP to get this skill
--> you can't manage the PvP build with such a lack of SP (as far as I experienced it know)
---> exception: you got enough additional SP => PvE I [5/5] ||| PvE II [0/5] ||| PvP [5/5]
Screw Dropkick Drop down from the air in high speed and perform a spin kick, attacking standing enemies.
-> no air combo + long time in air before you launch the enemies
-> maybe for following skills but they are still under observation! => PvE I [1/5]* ||| PvE II [1/5]* ||| PvP [1/5]
Roar of Lion Produce a strong shout, reducing enemy movespeed and evade.
-> I hear the reducing of movement speed doesn't work so:
--> maybe for following skills but they are still under observation! => PvE I [1/5]* ||| PvE II [1/5]* ||| PvP [3/5]
Tornado Uppercut Concentrate the energy throughout your body before regulating it, releasing a storm, attacking enemies.
-> as far as I know it launches enemies, so useless due to no air combo
--> maybe for following skills but they are still under observation! => PvE I [3/5]* ||| PvE II [3/5]* ||| PvP [0/5]
Rebound Upon reaching 0 HP, instantly revive self with some % of your max HP.
-> sounds nice to me, especially in higher Lvs and higher Skill-Lv increases the % of your max HP you'll have after resurrection
--> on max Lv it also affects on party members (PvE only)
--> you revive with 30% of your HP when this skill is activ, for PvE I only use it for Elga so if you want to do Elga sometimes with your twin it could become useful but it's not a necessesary skill
-> PvP 0/5? wouldn't a "second chance" after the death be nice? No, it's simply unfair and is justly banned in BSQ/EW => PvE I [1-5/5]* ||| PvE II [1-5/5]* ||| PvP [0/5]
Iron Fist Training Attack with your fists and legs, tempered to the extent of iron, giving a chance to reduce your enemies' movement speed, evade and DEF.
-> tested this skill and hoped for a wrong skill description but actually I couldn't see any effect
--> maybe I'll try it on my second twin again but at the moment the skill seems to be useless => PvE I [0/3] ||| PvE II [0/3] ||| PvP [0/3]
At Light Speed Increase movement speed and attack speed by 200% for 30 seconds (on max Lv).
-> honestly, I had my doubts with this skill but now I just have to say, that I love it!
--> the movement speed especially in PvP is awesome. The attack speed too since it makes Power Fist cast faster (sometimes it bugs the skill though) => PvE I [3/3] ||| PvE II [3/3] ||| PvP [3/3]
Fist Harmony Allows twins to accumulate Harmony Points. When successfully chaining combos between a twin active skill and a main skill, initiates Saving Harmony buff for 10 seconds. If 'Finish Move' or 'Finish Impact' is cast within this 10 second time frame, player will gain a Harmony buff, increasing movespeed and inflicting Bleeding and Weakening to the enemy.
-> still under observation! but I actual don't know any twin using this skill
--> only a prerequisite for Mirage fusion skills => PvE I [0/3] ||| PvE II [0/3] ||| PvP [1/3]
Harmony Mastery Increases the possible max level of Saving Harmony by 1. Saving Harmony grants the player a Harmony buff, increasing movespeed and evade, DEF and inflicting Bleeding and Weakening to the enemy.
-> still under observation! but I actual don't know any twin using this skill => PvE I [0/2] ||| PvE II [0/2] ||| PvP [0/2]
Fusion Boost Removes the animation delay for Fusion skills, allowing them to be chained together more efficiently.
-> still under observation! but you can't skip the skill on your way to 'Ghost Fighter'
--> sounds really nice to me even if you got to buff it => PvE I [0/1] ||| PvE II [0/1] ||| PvP [1/1]
Finish Move Spin low once and do cutdown skill, attacking standing enemies.
--> sadly, if the skill isn't useful you even have to get it to max Lv. => PvE I [0/5] ||| PvE II [0/5] ||| PvP [5/5]
Finish Impact Jump low and do cutdown skill using one's fist, attacking standing or fallen enemies.
-> you just need it for "Ghost Fighter" => PvE I [0/3] ||| PvE II [0/3] ||| PvP [1/3]
Ghost Fighter Rapidly attack enemies within attack range. Inflicts stun with each hit.
-> you dash towards your enemy and perform a combo, very easy to catch somebody
--> but: use it wisely and especially fair! never use it in a 1v1 Pvp => PvE I [0/5] ||| PvE II [0/5] ||| PvP [5/5]
Stamper Jump and attack standing or airborne enemies 5 times with fast stamping steps.
-> almost like 'Dragon Kick'. same cooldown, nearly same hits and the duration is also kinda the same. 'Stamper' does greater damage but Dragon Kick's range is better
-> only 3/5 in PvE I so you may get "Rolling Grable" so you get a long range skill, since you got enough and better ones for close range
-> only 1/5 for PvP since there are better skills to deal certain damage on single targets or small groups and you need to save SP => PvE I [3/5] ||| PvE II [5/5] ||| PvP [1/5]
Spin Blade Phoenix Kick twice while moving forward, attacking enemies 2-6 times (matters on Skill-Lv.).
-> the damage is ok but the duration is way too long so the damage per second isn't great and your twin is stuck in the animation
--> only to get 'Infinite Kicking'
--> not sure about PvP yet => PvE I [0 or 3/5] ||| PvE II [3/5] ||| PvP [3/5]
Infinite Kicking The upgraded version of Non Stop Kicking. Attack standing or fallen enemies 6-10 times (matters on Skill-Lv.).
-> great damage and range, will become your most useful skill in my opinion
--> 'Infinite Kicking' has an hitlock and due to the duration it's very useful in PvP! => PvE I [5/5] ||| PvE II [5/5] ||| PvP [5/5]
Swish Kick Move forward and attack standing or fallen enemies followed by a spin kick.
-> only two hits and due to that also not a great damage
--> prerequisite for 'Rising Drop Kick' => PvE I [1/5] ||| PvE II [1/5] ||| PvP [1/5]
Rising Drop Kick Recoil the body and perform a long distance drop kick, attacking standing or airborne enemies.
-> even if it's not such a crowd destroyer as 'Slide Kicking' the dmg is still insane!
--> to explain it better:
'Rising Dropf Kick' does way greater damage but it's hard to aim and it doesn't hit so many monsters but if it does the damage is insane
'Slide Kicking' hits more monsters due to better range and AoE(=Area of Effect) but the damage isn't such great
---> my 2nd favourite skill
---> against enemies with a large hitbox (=sector in which the enemy receives damage) the skill does even greater damage since they receive every single hit of the skill
---> best skill to deal insane damage to boss monsters => PvE I [5/5] ||| PvE II [5/5] ||| PvP [5/5]
Twin Impact Increases damage of Twin active skills by 10% (on max Lv.).
-> 10% damage for Twin skills for 45SP? Get it!
--> the skill works but everybody has to decide if it's worth it or not but I like to stack dmg boosts so I advice you to get it => PvE I [3/3] ||| PvE II [3/3] ||| PvP [3/3]
Awakening Whenever you use MP during battle, your Awakening bar will fill up. This allows you to perform certain special skills which consume Awakening points. These skills also consume MP, however the MP they consume does not fill your awakening bar.
-> you need it for awakening skills / ultimate skills
--> PvP won't use the skills => PvE I [0/1] ||| PvE II [1/1] ||| PvP [0/1]
Awakening Charge Consumes MP to recharge % of the Awakening bar every 3 seconds.
-> not needed since the Awakening bar fills up whenever you use MP but sometimes you maybe want to use the skill earlier so I'd say to get this skill to 1/3 in order to save SP => PvE I [0/3] ||| PvE II [1/3] ||| PvP [0/3]
Infinite Scuffle [Awakening Skill] Perform a legendary combo. Dash forward and perform a combo with the twin against standing or fallen enemies. When in Fusion status, the attack is performed by oneself.
-> the damage is ok but it rarely hits more than 2 or 3 monsters of a spawn so it's just a prerequisite for 'Consecutive Hit'
--> only for PvE II to get 'Consecutive Hit' (=> more skills for higher CDs as said in the beginning)
--> the skill seems to be good in PvP since you will dash to target attack the enemy but it's very easy to escape from it => PvE I [0/5] ||| PvE II [1/5] ||| PvP [0/5]
Consecutive Hit [Awakening Skill] Perform a legendary combo with the twin. Twin holds the enemy down while one stabs the enemies 4-6 times (matters on Skill-Lv.). If in Fusion status, the combo is done by oneself.
-> only for PvE II (=> more skills for higher CDs as said in the beginning)
-> the damage is good but the CD is therefore kinda high
--> maybe good for PvP since the skill draws the enemies to the twin before the main stabs the enemies.
---> but you need to use 125 SP to get the max. Lv. and that's too much for the PvP build in my opinion => PvE I [0/5] ||| PvE II [5/5] ||| PvP [0/5]
Cross Fist [Ultimate Skill] A special skill for twins that has been handed down across the Dragonkin generations. By maximizing Dragonkin Force and exploding the concentrated energy, it hits the enemies nearby up to 5 times and does additional damage at the end with an explosion. Final hit inflicts stun.
-> well I only have seen this skill until now and never used it myself but it seems like the damage could be kinda nice and like many Ultimate Skills it is also a great animation but still it is only a skill for fun since 60SP could be used better
--> you can also spend the SP on other skills if you want to => PvE I [0/1]* ||| PvE II [0/1] ||| PvP [0/1]
Training Time Transform standing enemies in range into a wooden training doll for 3 seconds. While in this status, enemies cannot move. However, the enemies' base DEF is increased by 50%.
-> only for PvP purposes but you would need to get it to 5/5 which consumes a lot of SP (100)
--> higher Lv only increases amount of transformed enemies but lowers the CD (18 -> 10 seconds) => PvE I [0/5] ||| PvE II [0/5] ||| PvP [0 or 5/5]
How to Skill from Lv. 20 - Lv. 80 (always with no ReSkill)
PvE I:
Spoiler
Level 20
=> the last skill you should focus on is 'Heavy Blow' Level 30 Level 40
=> if you focus on 'Rising Drop Kick' or 'Infinite Kicking' first is up to you. But I'd skill them before you go for 'Twin Impact' Level 50 Level 60
--> you need to max out Breath Control and with all pre-skills you need 255 SP to get it
--> it's up to you if you get 'At Light Speed" before or after getting 'Breath Control' Level 70 Level 80
-> I skilled 'Rebound' for Elga purposes but you could also save the SP and maybe get something else you like or even go for some PvP skills like 'Power Fist'.
PvE II:
Spoiler
Level 20 Level 30
=> max out Rolling Grable first before you skill Slide Kicking further or start to skill Heavy Blow Level 40 Level 50
-> max out 'Rising Drop Kick' and "Infinite Kicking" first before you focus on 'Twin Impact' Level 60
-> max out 'At Light Speed' then go for 'Consecutive Hit' Level 70 Level 80
These ways are only a suggestion! You can change the order when you get certain skills how you like to. Also both ways are only suggestions, I advice you to try out the skills yourself with saving one reskill, so you can decide yourself which skills you like and which you would like to leave out to the save the SP you need.
PvP:
I just show my Lv 85 suggestion here, if you want to cap your twin before 81 you have to decide how you want to skill or you can ask in this topic. Level 85 PvP
With the 240 SP left you can get whatever you like to. 'Training Time', maxing out 'Slide Kicking', maxing out 'Metal Fist" and so on ... you'll need 340 SP in total to get 'Ghost Fighter' so you either need additional SP or just save some at other skills.
2.2 Combo suggestions:
Spoiler
-> or
-> that's what I mainly did on Lv 20-40. In higher lvs you can nearly use every skill while or after Infinite Turning Kick.
--> also: while performing Infinite Turning Kick you could use or for some extra damage
---> Stamper is also a good alternative to Dragon Kick after Lv 40
->
-> Rolling Grable deals some damage and knocks the enemys down so you can finish them with Slide Kicking
-> any skill you want to
-> since Rising Drop Kick deals such a great damage you often just need a "finisher" for the monsters which didn't receive all the damage of the skill
=> don't stick too much to these combos. Sometimes it's better to play and find out which combos are your favourites. This is just a little advice for the beginning.
At the end I just want to give you a little advice:
These skill builds are only my recommendation and how I'd play the twin fighter but this class has such an diversity so I really advice you to "waste" one of the 2 skill resets you get, just to try some things out and maybe to create your own way to play the twin fighter.
I'd say before Lv 40 it is not need to waste your gold or gada coins on set pieces.
After Lv 40 I'd go with this set parts:
Lv. 40 - Lv. 54:
Lv. 40 Hidden Dragon 3 parts => +18 Agility, Final Critical Rate +2,7%
Lv. 47 Soullinker 3 parts => +22 Agility, Final Critical Rate +3,3% => +40 Agility, Final Critical Rate +6%
Lv. 54+ :
Lv. 47 Soullinker 3 parts => +22 Agility, Final Critical Rate +3,3%
Lv. 54 Fist Master 3 parts => +26 Agility, Final Critical Rate +3,9% => +48 Agility, Final Critical Rate +7,2%
In my opinion the Lv 60 [Hero] Undead Bone Set and the Lv 70 [Hero] Secmathian Set aren't needed but if you like some extra HLT/HP or go for special stats like movement speed or attack speed, feel free to get it. The 3/3 setup adds much more Critical Rate, the only argument for those Sets is the Defense and Health but in my opinion that's not a lot for the price you have to pay but if you want to get it, it's up to you.
Lv. 81+:
Lv. 81 [Hero] Protector of the Stars Set:
Spoiler
2/6: HP +3120
3/6: Agility +97
4/6: Health +71
5/6: Absolute Def Rate +32.5%, Def Rate: 325
6/6: Final Critical Success Rate +3.8%, Four elements resistance: 2600, Four elements resistance: 65.0%;
=> as you see 7 part PoS doesn't make sense
Helmet: Strength +85
Shoulderguard: Movement Speed +18.1%
Cape: stats can vary from 1-3 Stats (CritRate, CritDMG(up to 44%), Evade Rate, Aim Rate possible)
Top: Health #61
Gloves: HP Recovery +218.0%
Bottom: HP +670
Shoes: ATK Speed +27.8%
=> replace Gloves with Secmathian for Attack Speed or Alexandre Gloves with AGI or HLT or Karkharous Gloves for Movement Speed.
=> replacing the Helmet doesn't make that much sense since there is no compareable Helmet to the Gloves above
PvE further than Lv. 79 won't make that much sense since you can't farm at Verglas Ridge F1 any longer and the drop rate of the Elga Chests will decrease. For PvP there is no alternativ to this set, except you cap you character before 81.
Back/Wings:
Until [Hero] Paris' Wings White(Lv. 70, 25% Critical Damage) just get something with Critical Rate on it or if you want to spend some gold get [Hero] Undead Bone (15% Critical Damage), Boost Backpack [Signus] (Lv 55, 15% Critical Damage, 8% Movement Speed)
Finally, if you aim for Lv. 81+ the wings you'll be aiming for are the [Hero] Protector of the Stars Wings, since they give up to 3 special options with up to 44% critical damage if you are lucky.
Accesory (PvE):
Spoiler
Necklace:
I'd just stick to Hero Sign of Kazeura (Quest can be found here -> Kill Akanai! since the options are good for all purposes.
Spoiler
Max HP +20.0%
Max MP +20.0%
Strenght +15
Intelligence +15
Health +15
Agility +15
Belt: Ryvius' Belt of Purity (Agility +27, Aim Rate +5.0%)
Aram's Belt of Perseverance (+339-830 ATK, +6.0% Aim Rate) -> the ATK amount increases with upgrading and soulcraft, so +20 legendary will add 630 ATK
Rings:
Something with Crit Rate as a Soul Craft Option or if you can get it something with ATK as a special option. But in my opinion you shouldn't spend too much gold for rings. I advice you to get Secmathian or Kryos Rings at Lv 65/70. Everything before this Lvls is a nice bonus but not required. If you really want to go for the maximum you should aim for 15* Caracha Solar Rings or even Cerberus if you aim for 81+.
Here are some suggestions:
Earring:
Same as for Rings. Here are the suggestions:
Spoiler
Ryvius' Earring of Verdure (STR +20, Movement Speed +10%) Aram's Earring of Perseverance (+1.1% Final CritRate + 2 Part Set effect with the Belt for 12% Movement Speed) Kyros Earring
Shield:
All effects of possible items aren't that great that you really need one of them but here are the possibilities. Choose the one you like best:
In my opinion I'd go for 3 parts of the elemental accesory and since I wouldn't give up the Hero Sign of Kazeura, you need to go for elemental belt, ring and earrings. So there is one one ring you can choose and I'd advise to aim for a 15* Caracha/Cerberus Solar Ring even if it's very expensive. For the way to this ring you could stick to a Secmathian or Kryos Ring or simply wear 2 elemental rings for a 100 elemental attack bonus.
Pet:
Whatever you like. Car Pets for highest stats but you should focus on these stats:
Attack Speed
Health
Critical Damage
Critical Rate
Agility
3.2 Weapon
until Lv. 27: Wooden Gauntlet (Lv. 20)
until Lv. 37/40: Aqua Spiritual Gauntlet (Lv. 27)
until Lv. 49/55/60: Dark Soul Gauntlet (Lv. 37) => PvE
Fire/Ice/Nature/Dark Gauntlet (Lv. 40) => PvP (only if you PvP a lot. Otherwise it's not worth it to spend the gold)
until Lv. 70: Magma Lord Gauntlet (Lv. 49) Magichenge Knuckle (Lv. 55) Undead Bone Knuckle (Lv. 60)
Until you can wear the Zauharant Gauntlet you can also use "random" weapons since the difference isn't so massive and due to F7 you only need a good weapon for PvP. Before Zauharant I wouldn't upgrade your weapon too much, if you want to save some gold. With the Zauharant you can farm gold at Verglas Ridge and at this point a better weapon speeds the runs up so you get more gold in the same time.
3.3 Medal
These are the medals I would use while playing the twin fighter. The medals are listed regarding their ranking/importance for the twin fighter.
[MC] Metal Fist Increases ATK by 2% each Skill-Lv.
-> 10% ATK for 50SP? Go get it! => PvE I [5/5] ||| PvE II [5/5] ||| PvP [5/5]
sadly as all % boost only on ground stats, so your atk by strength like nothing
Tactic Combo Press 'z' / 'y' while attacking to perform a back kick and somersault kick.
-> not needed but there is no way to leave this skill out. => PvE I [1/1] ||| PvE II [1/1] ||| PvP [1/1]
skill was removed when chain combos where added, skill simulator never changed this
[MC] Spin Kick Perform a powerful spin kick against standing enemies and push them back.
-> only a prerequisite for following skills, maybe you can use it in early Lvs to crowd monsters.together. => PvE I [1/5] ||| PvE II [1/5] ||| PvP [0-1/5]
you need it on lvl 1 for all skills below, even for pvp
Rapid Stance Increases evade and accuracy by 10%.
-> conscience conflict. Not needed but only 5 SP to spend for it but the accuracy may help you, especially in PvP, so I'd skill it. => PvE I [1/1] ||| PvE II [1/1] ||| PvP [1/1]
also % boost the ground stats, and since evade is useless and you twin has a nearly 100% hit chance because it counts as summoning useless
Ring from Hell Summon a Ring from Hell. Decreases movespeed and attack speed in the Ring's range. Debuff is disabled once the enemy leaves the ring.
-> don't skill it for F7. It's simply a waste of SP for that purpose
-> for PvP I need to experiment more with the skill to find out which Skill-Lv. is needed / worth the SP => PvE I [0/5] ||| PvE II [0/5] ||| PvP [?/5]
only usefull for pvp or f7 but for nothing else
Heavy Blow Don't let the description fool you! It adds 60% critical rate on max. Lv.!
-> 60% critical rate for 60 SP? In my opinion: totally worth it! => PvE I [3/3] ||| PvE II [3/3] ||| PvP [3/3]
only 50% but jeah its nice
Infinite Kicking The upgraded version of Non Stop Kicking. Attack standing or fallen enemies 6-10 times (matters on Skill-Lv.).
-> the damage is great but the duration is kinda long compared to the range so the your twin is stuck in the animation
-> you can sometimes cancel skills with Fusion but I'd rather skip such a skill and get the -1.5 CD of 'Breath Control' but that's a decision everybody has to make based on his/her preferences
--> only PvE II (=> more skills for higher CDs as said in the beginning)
--> not sure about PvP yet but 'Infinite Kicking' has a hitlock => PvE I [0/5]* ||| PvE II [5/5] ||| PvP [0-5/5]
one of the strongest skills after raising drop kick, got long animation time but you can stop the rest of the animation with fusion
Twin Impact Increases damage of Twin active skills by 10% (on max Lv.).
-> 10% damage for Twin skills for 45SP? Get it! => PvE I [3/3] ||| PvE II [3/3] ||| PvP [3/3]
like before, only ground stats so useless
wrote my comments in orange, i hope it helped you
to the rest: cant say anything to 4th job skills nor to fusion skills, just playing my twin in pve only so i never tried them
thanks xydor for your work, probably helps new player to learn more about twins

Thanks for your comment.
As you noticed I made the skill section with the skill simulator so there are several mistakes in it. I hope I'll find them in the next days.
Sometimes I had to rely on things what other twins told me (especially for '[MC] Metal Fist', 'Twin Impact' and 'Rapid Stance' regarding if it's for base stats or not) since it's not possible to try all skills but I do my best to raise a second twin to get to know every skill by myself.
If I may, there is an "air combo" using Tornado Upper'; if that's what you call "something that can hit twice" or at least "hitting another time while flying", matter is it is... "slower" than RollGrab'. (Need a big target to be sure that it'll hit twice.)
Also, while having Standard and "Ranking" PvP - in which I think teammates can "buff" eachother (well I don't PvP, hence supposing) - maybe Rebound can affect teammates; meaning that you could try to save someone (or both yourself and the mate). But that's something that needs time for protection and incantion.

BS however isn't a valid place for this Skill
As far as I know Rebound affects on party members at Lv. 5 but only for PvE. I don't know if they changed something with this skill since I wasn't able to try it until now.
I hope I understood the first part of your answer correctly :x
There are some air combos for twin fighters but the problem is that the damage output is lower than with the other combos.
But that's also on my To-Do-List since I never tried playing a twin with air combos myself. Maybe I will present a 3rd way to skill for PvE.
I don't think anything about Rebound changed; just supposing that as a party buff (Lv.5), it could save anyone.
As for the "air combo", I supposed (on my own :q) that you were talking about whether a Skill could hit more than once, in which case I will answer "yes".
But it seems that you were referring to the damage output; meaning that I misunderstood the thing, then won't really be able to help.
But "damage", huh... Since there are 2 tornadoes coming, maybe we can suppose that it could hit up to 4 times?
[MC]Metal Fist is a good passive skill now. Unlike the past which it only increase from base attack, now it increase from final attack.
for example my base attack is 580. with bonus attack from ring it increase by 427. from my weapon attack it increase by 3263(max attack) and it should be become 4260. with [MC]Metal fist, it increase my final attack by 10% which is 426. it makes attack 4686(roughly like this... I wonder where I miss count because my attack actually become 4701 lol... well the miss count isn't really far and it become more than it should be so its fine *maybe increased health from my weapon).
So from my rough calculation with a low level and low enchant weapon (undead bone gauntlet +8), [MC] Metal Fist will increase a lot of attack at the end game... like about 1-2k (since people using zauharant/elga weapon +20 have attack around 15-20k)

That's what I experienced too and I think such an increase of ATK is worth to spend 40 SP.
Thank you for confirming that it affects on total stats.
Just my own opinion about Undead/Secmathian set. As a fellow pve player, this set is actually good and worth the gold for me. you dont need to have a complete set since the absolute def rate is useless, but have it 5 actually good enough (2.1 Final crit rate for undead and 2.6 for secmathian). The plus of this set is not only high def, but to put it simply high constitution (def, health, HP). Each equip have bonus option which is good for me (armor=health; bottom=HP; gloves=aspd; shoes=mspd). The combination can be 5 Undead/Secmathian + Mutisha shoulder (final crit rate + movespeed from mutisha shoulder) or 3-2 undead secmathian + mutisha shoulder (this is for more HP). And since I love mspd(well movespeed actually good for twin I think, even though there is at light speed buff but pumping more movespeed won't hurt XD), just some accessory combination that is good for movespeed are 5 star lava belt(have same effect with ryvius purity belt with a bit lower agi)+5 star lava ring; rare bone dragon ear + rare van cliff ring (this set not recommended since its very expensive, u can replace it with ryvius agility earring and ring). So to conclude it, I love move speed and high constitution (HP and Def) for my Twin . U can say that soullink and fistmaster set for total offensive and undead and secmathian set for more defensive. Its too bad that unbreakable and roaring set give final crit rate at 6 set not 3...

Thanks for your answer.
I'll edit the equipment part regarding your suggestion/explanation.
I was thinking about Bone and Secmathian too but since I only do PvE at the moment and got no big problems with my HP I decided to stay with 47/54 parts.
But everybody has a different play style so I'll edit it for players who like to play with some more HP.
Regarding the movement speed I just can say it's recommendable to get as much as you can since it's speeds up your gameplay.
But in my opinion you need to find a good balance between damage and critical rate/damage stats and movement speed.
I hope I'll have enough time this weekend to improve this guide.
would you be able to add another section talking about IM gear and necklaces?
I'll add it but at the moment I am too busy for playing DS or working on this guide.
I hope it'll change in the nearer future but I don't want to promise anything.
If you don't want to wait and you got a question regarding your point feel free to ask.
Hello! Thank you very much for the guide! I love the class but I always found it hard to play and I couldn't find guides in the past! It looks great!
I have just one comment, on the section of Twin Fighter skills (Lv 1-20), you have Non Stop Kicking on Lv. 0 for PvE II, but then on the "How to skill from Lv 20-80" with no re skill section, I see on the skill simulator that you put it on Lv 5. Also in the simulator you have Dragon Kick on Lv 3, and at the beginning of the guide you have it on Lv 5.

Thank you for telling me this! The skill simulator got updated so they finally fixed the thing with "Tactical Combo", a skill which doesn't exist any longer. If you know how the URL of the skill simulator works, it's easy to understand:
After the last _ in the URL there are several numbers, they stood for the skill lvs, so with one deleted, everything messed up a bit, I try to fix it fast, hopefully I don't have to set it up in a whole new way for all links.
I focused on attack speed, when I got a new pc. Wasn't able to use high attack speed on my old laptop, but that's another story, I'll explain you why:
They are 3 ways to go for in the "end game" as a twin in my opinion:
- Movement Speed
- Health
- Attack Speed
I mixed up all 3 a bit with focusing on attack speed. For things like Verglas Ridge F1 farm it's not necessary since the monsters will die with 1 twin skill, but for PvP it's useful. Elemental damage applies on every single hit you do, no matter how much damage it deals without the element, so if you catched an enemy, hitting him with x-Attack will increase your damage, since with high atkspeed you hit quite often while let's say one Infinite Kicking.
Another reason is I play my twin PvE and PvP and for PvE Movement Speed wouldn't help that much since I am at an amount which is enough for me, Health isn't that much needed too. So I went for atk speed which boosts my damage in PvP and in PvE against a boss since I can really hit with 2 guys instead of one doing all the work.
Also soloing elga was my aim which is possible with some atk speed, maybe solar rings ~13*+ are needed too.
Well to cut a long story short:
I play the twin PvE and PvP, so Attack Speed gives me the most efficient boost.
That's the time I needed for elga solo if you're interested in that:
Spoiler
(The number in the upper left corner is my fps and ignore Yelix there <- both caused by Overwolf, a teamspeak application.)
By the way, I fixed the skill simulator links, lucky me, deleting 1 zero in every link was the key as I expected.
Hey, another Overwolf user.
Tell Freddy I said hi, even though this screenshot is old.
I was curious about a twin's ability to solo Elga. I've barely every partied with any, and when I do, they usually foam. Thanks for clarifying.
I will tell him
Well it's tough, you need to be a bit lucky in the 2nd form. If elga doesn't get groggy that much, it can fail also. In the 3rd form, wrong attacks after you destroyed the bone can also result in such things.
Infinite kick is probably one of the best skill a twin has for an offensive move and could be potentially spammed if executed correctly with other skills. It has a 360* aoe hit box with a vertical distance added letting you catch players above your twin or even catch an archer about to cast or already casts shoot down. Especially if you weave since your twin won't get knocked up. Also it can be used when frozen letting you lock for a decent amount of time without even doing anything. In pve you don't even need to know how to use it, just pretend it's a small aoe 11 hit combo. Although on bosses you may want to mash x while the twin kicks.
Just a little thing almost every twin skill is practically a solid small aoe that has a solid knock down like broom jab. You can hit players behind the twin with skills if close enough, you just have to be near it to get hit. That's why I would disagree with the con of having no AoE 360* skills. I have seen twins in 85 catch 6 players with 1 infikick, and I will tell you now that people in 85 are probably smart pvpers so it's a decent skill in general. I don't see a pally walking in and catching 5+ people with a single bear or cross cut and those skills are generally seen as an aoe skill.
As for the first persons comment you don't have to press fusion to cancel skills. You can be an effective pvper by doing the right thing at the right time. If your twin gets knocked down or launched-> use fusion. If your twin is totally blind and is infinite kicking nothing-> use space bar or charge attack to recall twin instantly without having to use the fusion animation.
As for ring of hell, I only use it in F7 or pvp(fancy combo). I don't recomend getting it unless you want to look cool instead of infikick+x spam someone to death.
Release fighter force is the only reason why I play twins. Just my totally biased opinion, would totally 10/10 if I could. I love this skill more than... Well I'll just leave that to your imagination.
And for PvP stacking your'e doing the right thing. Health,movementspeed, and attack speed are the top stats to stack, next to resists and attacks.
And for pve+pvp I would recommend hero pos weapon. Socket min/max 10% Patk card, soul craft min/max Patk(or even Matk if lucky to have more) if your going all out. Assuming you have 3 6* atks and 2 cerb solars. Then again pos in general does more damage than elga in pve so you would use that anyway.
Belt is from ryvius you mentioned is from the purity set. Ryvius belt of purity.
The earring for ryvius is called verdure for the 10% mspd 1 piece. Add ring for a 2 piece atk spd boost.
Lava ring should be 5* for the movement speed.
Perseverance Aram earring gives 8% mspd/1.1 final critical rate.
And so on, I know you want to just shorten your guide on the equipment part, but detailing which part to get might be helpful to both old and new players just to freshen up the mind.
Great work on the guide, hope to see it updated more and more.

Interesting to see a class that can be on the edge with optimal gear. I think I have a new goal after I finish my summoner and savage!
