Why the GMs no make a client without errors? o_O

We not need manual patchs, this a problem i want play and cant because its like if they not know nothing about the game -_-

Five days my Prem. Acc Pet Costume and run without which I could use it. What -_- is this here? People I want to play on and I DEMAND of you a compensation for all players have the Prem things and it could not use because of your stupidity !!! See to it that you get the point !!!

 

same for me bro even me my PEt and Costume is still ON but useless better you Helium upload some files on RQ that update already and give us u can upload even on Media fire we need to play bcuz lot of our IM is Useless this Week :3

Wow, OK I am going through the posts now to make sense of all the problems people are having. Another patch was just released today too.

 

In the meantime, if you install Requiem via Steam you can launch Requiem from UPDATERUSA (from where ever Steam installed Requiem) to be able to login via a non-Steam account. You can also use Steam to repair the client to the current version 175 as of today. See the spoiled image below for illustration.

Oh yes, if you had Item Mall Items that have timers that are running and you actually could not log in due to a problem like this, you can submit a ticket saying this and from what date/time to what date/time, the Support Team will verify you were not actually logged in during that time and can replace those items.

I have not been able to reproduce these problems. Not here in the office, not at home on my PC, and not at a friends house with a slower internet connection either. It was reproduced once in-house in the walkthrough I put in my first post and it was solved in that one case. There really should be no need for manual patches but If I did not post them the community would be asking. Generally, if the Update fails, you keep running the Updater again until it succeeds. This can occur due to timed out connections during the download of the patch file. The problems people are having could also be caused by permissions settings and/or security software designed to prevent background applications from writing to disk.

i change the game Version file and whem i log in, i receive the error of the my client is in a difrent version and ask to log later!

 

The following are very important:

DO NOT EVER MANUALLY MODIFY THE UserGameVersion!!!

ONLY MODIFY THE UserPatchVersion IF YOU MUST MANUALLY DOWNLOAD THE PATCH FILES!!!

Because you've done a mistake in your version ;)

 

After you've put the Patch files into the folder "Patch", you must edit the version.dat file not as you've done but in :

 

"UserGameVersion=00000678;

UserPatchVersion=00000679;"
 
Because if you write 679 in first line, the patch won't be applied ! 
 
After that launch the Updater and have fun :3

OK, we have reproduced a BIG problem now and are working to make a new installer!

 

If you reinstall as of now you may begin to get the "Old File not found..." error. An issue from patch 675 to 676 has been identified. So, for now if you have not reinstalled, do not. If you have reinstalled, a new installer will be released ASAP. (None of this applies to the Steam client.)

installing on steam then going to C: -> Program Files(86x) -> Steam -> SteamApps -> common -> Requiem then running the UPDATERUSA.exe as admin worked thanks

Okey, game works guys i downloaded it from steam  yesterday in the night , made the integrity of cache cheak  before to even give a try if works without doing it (steam library -> Requiem : right click -> properties ), after that i launch the game from steam , dont know why but that opens a warpportal launcher where u can only launch the game creating  a account (i already had one) , but i just made one too for curious , after that i just reminded i can do what ''explicid17'' (installing on steam then going to where ever you got instaled your steam -> steam apps-> common -> Requiem -> UPDATERUSA.exe as admin just for precaution) then the game will update to 100% with no problem at all and doing this way if you already got a account , this will make you able after opening the game set the account you want. Thats all enjoy

Well, the problem with the installer was discovered days after the problems with the patch began.

What I could not reproduce was the problem of getting stuck at 49% (or whatever %) while patching from 678 to 679. This is still the case for me, but was reproduced by a Support Team member and resolved (all quoted in my first post). The problem after reinstall using the most recent Installer was easy enough to reproduce and happened everytime without fail. It gets stuck between 675 and 676 because the Requiem.exe and UPDATERUSA.exe files, as installed, are not the correct version.

I am aware of your outspoken and often dramatic posts across the forum (often where they do not belong) but whether you made those posts or not, I have had my attention on this issue and have been trying to help (along with some very awesome positive community members) with information, workarounds and solutions.

Totally legit.

First, as I mentioned above if you had timed items (whether Item Mall purchased or acquired in game from an event) that expired while you were unable to log in, a ticket to Support can get those items restored or extended if you explain what happened.

Next, the Saint Patricks Day Event could be extended another week.  If so, we will announce such an extension later today.

In addition I should mention, as we move forward following the Steam launch the events will only get better and more beneficial so missing some double drops and 130% Exp. Event may not feel like a big deal eventually.

Unfortunately the issue that users have had with the patch download resulted in many more attempts to reinstall using the problematic installer. The new installer is still under construction. However, if you do not want to wait and do not want to use Steam, but still want to play ASAP: There is one other option. Download the Installer from July 2014 which works great but will spend a few minutes patching after installing. If you are interested in this, check the very first post in the thread where I have given a link to download the 3+ GB (.ZIP) with the July 2014 Installer via Google Drive (I found it backed up, compressed it and uploaded it myself for you guys).

Just posting this on the end in case you don't notice it as edited in the first post:

 

The instructions in the 1st post will remain but the recommended action to resolve any problems related to having reinstalled during the period after having trouble patching is: Visit the client download page(http://www.playrequi.../clientdownload), download the working installer then run it once to remove the client and run it again to install it. The client will then patch properly provided there are no other issues such as connectivity.(None of this applies to the Steam Requiem client.)

So as the game so now after 7 days is finally back, I'd like to know if I can contact me, because I now yes seven days and could not play in the time my Premium Acc. lam was run, at the crossroad as my pet and my costume and I do not see why I do not get the run-time back. ask for quick response. sry for my bad english but I have to use a translated

For those who do not have a steam account, or the steam program. Or simply already have the game and do not want to download the same game again.
Here is my files. Unpack the RAR and paste the content where they have the game.
Remplacen all files and hopefully work.

(forgive the evil that is read in English. Use a translator)

Você tentou fazer o download dos arquivos que eu enviados para mediafire?
Você deve descompactar o rar, e copiar os arquivos do jogo é dentro e manter o seu jogo remendado.
Se o mapa não carrega na inicialização, tente a opção de verificar arquivo.
