guys this quest you don't need to go to each window I only found 2

 

the one top to the right then went bottom left then back to top right to finish

 

This is not copy pasted like you think.

 

The GM's did there job.im sure you should try click the same one more then once

 

And CAMPITOR I WANT MY 2% job exp back. Basically you need to think outside the box not do the guide unless it the 2015 guide.

Also, I'd like everyone to know, no matter how many times i reset on a character that already tried to do this, My smith or shadow chaser couldn't do it because they tried before. I couldn't get the quest to work, the momment i tried it on my arch bishop which has never encountered york, it worked for me.  Try new characters that you havent tried to do it on before.

^ this.  since it's a rehash of the previous event, it looks like characters who have completed it the first time around will not be able to get the hat again.  However, based on this, I would think you should be able to at least exchange coins...

Factory windows still broken.

The quest is so freaking annoying, got killed right after getting my reward. Currently theres 4 Snakepentors on that ship since no one bother to kills it. Its so much better if the Snakepentors only spawn 1 and NOT multiply each time a player finish the quest. And please SCALE the level of Snakepentors spawn according to the player that finish the quest so I can have a fighting chance to kill it. If this quest is going to be held every year, I suggest u guys to improve it. Some bEXP and jEXP for defeating it is a nice incentive.

 

p/s to anyone who tried this quest before maintainance and couldn't finish it because of that stupid window, I suggest u to just use another char. My char couldn't reset no matter what i tried

^ There must have been a flood of folks finishing the quest or something, the Snakepentors each commit suicide after like 5 minutes. Back when I finished the quest on RK and AB, there was nobody there so I got to do a 2v1 faceoff against Snakepentor (couldn't kill him in time though).

I placed my character right next to Agent York and still nothing. Tried to complete the quest with all my characters and all of them bugged at the 2nd window.

I got my quest reset (Thnx Campitor!) but after turning in the items and getting the VIPER Headquarters part of the quest I went there and NONE of the windows respond to me now...

ugh. same. I think I'm going to give up doing this quest.

So my Gold Coins got restored.
Running over him doesn't seem to give the conversion option anymore.
Was anyone able to convert Gold Coins to Green Ales since the Maintenance this week?

I was informed that the Payon zone got rebooted somewhere during the day. The NPC is able to conver the old Gold Coins again now.
Thank you GM/CMs. I'll be more careful with my weight in the future.

I gave up on a fix for the character I use to gather coins. So, I made a new character, leveled it to 60, and finished the quest.
