Race to 150 *Update*

We do have at least 10 characters that reached 150 starting from 99/70 on Ymir.
Valkyrie has at least 4 that did the same.
Yggdrasil had 0 (when checked)
The race from new character -> 99/70 -> 150 is wide open on all servers with room for winners yet.
We are going to stop the race Next maintenance 11/24.
The highest base leveled 3rd classes will be the winners, so get er done!
We will be putting in a BB and medal option back in next week so we can start getting to normal so we can make happy chaos this Christmas!

Yeah, I think people are sick of this "race." Just get rid of the 1->150 one.
That wouldn't be OK for the people participating.

What I want to know is how would people feel:
If at the very least the high levels that started from 1 will get listed on the hall of honor, and likely get a named hat.

If they are hall of honor, qualify with their level at the time of judging by their character name.

Sound's fair to me. Ymir has had the 10 150s for about 3 weeks now, and there is no reason why the 1-150 race SHOULDN'T have been completed, except that nobody really cares about the 1-150 race. Considering it only takes 1 week AT MAX to reach 1-99 trans, there should be at least SOME 150s that participated in this race by now.

I think for those who started from 1 and attained high level on Ygg should get that. I mean, don't really see a problem with it.

+11 Eden Hat !!! Lol really don't think they have anything worth +11 so no real big deal...

Stupid race.

I see no problem with giving the top players a hall of honor spot - just make it clear on their entry that they didn't make it all the way, but did beat everyone else who competed.
A named hat is a good "good try, but not quite" award, so that makes sense as well.

And there are way more than 10 150's on Ymir now so its about time. That race was done like after week one. x3
I guess I understand not giving a hall of honor spot and interview for the people that didn't quite make it to 150 with new characters.
But I didn't think a +11 gear was that OP to give especially with you creating special Enriched Ores and now a
sort of enriched ore for +11-20 being offered. I mean the people participating probably have worked hard on their
new characters with lvling and gearing, its not their fault you are cutting the deadline.
Unless of course you just keep that new character 150 race until it actually ends with 10 new 150s.
Even with BBs and medals in play. As I think the amount of medals you need is ridiculous to get to 150 anyway.
But yeah just my opinion.

The only way this race would have been fair, was a temporary high rate experience server, where everyone starts fresh, no kafra anything, and 1st of each class to 150 gets +11 item that the character can wear on the server of their choice. With 13 winners total across all servers.
This also would have brought back alot more players then the current race would have.

If anything the 1-150 race on valk should get 1 additional week for starting later. I worked my ass off to where i am from 1-150 and being cut so short while being so close is really crappy. and no, a named hat wont be any "consolation prize". unless its a +11 flying evil wing hat.

Also, in regards to the "theres lots finished on Ymir" comment, please keep in mind Ymir has had an extra week over Valk server as well as increased exp rates. To my knowledge, there are only 5 150s on Valk now, with a good portion of players in the 140s. If you think about it Ymir has had 5 weeks, 3 with double exp 2 with 1.5x exp, which is 9 weeks of leveling at 1x, and valk has had 4 weeks, 2 with 1.5x exp and 2 with no exp bonus, which is 5 weeks worth of leveling at 1x.
Edit: Also, in regards to Yggdrasil server, I'm not sure theres even any demand for medal npc/bbs on Ygg, so I'm not sure if the race would need to end there at all. With the limited gears and supplies available on that server, there hasn't been any real chance for players to reach max level, but I know that theres quite a few who have been trying hard. It seems unfair to them to promise them something and then say, oh, you took too long, here is a hat.
In regards to bias, which I'm sure someone will point out, I have not been leveling any characters for the race so I do not have any personal investment in this.
