Hello Dragon Saga Friends,

 

sadly the game progress is not saved

at the moment. I already informed the staff about this.

 

Please stay patient.

Update (4/12, 1:32 Server Time):

 

I got myself about 5 hours of sleep. After getting up I have the bad news that there is still no change in the situation.

This only thing I can give you is to fight rumors: Please don't assume a server close. It is none.

 

I will get new informations later today (planned is around 9am PST, 9:00 Server Time, 16:00 GMT/UTC). 

As always I keep you updated about news on this then.

OMG i lost my gold @,@ gosh is there going to be a roll back meow?

items sold in the market but the gold is gone now when i change back to my character meow @,@

Close your shops, do nothing. Just wait. Just to be save.

This is the best you can do. 

 

It's a bad situation I know..........last time this happened (months ago) the server was rolled back to the time directly before the issue began.

Hope it's the same this time.  :p_smile:

 

 

But I guess, some will have to write support tickets to get lost things back......maybe......we will see.

The last time this happened, I think everything was reset to the moment the error started. Anything you did in the game during the "bugged period" was reset as if it never happened, except any IM points spent. IM items bought during the bugged period were given back to players manually by WP support afterwards.

 

Double bad luck that this happened now during WP staff's sleepy-time.  :p_sleep:  :p_sleep:  :p_sleep:

 

Maybe it's Hades's revenge for losing most of his HP.  :p_devil:

Is there an estimated time that this will be fixed? Certainly not what I expected to come home to on my night off.

Giggle, poor hades, stop blaming him, cause he is already threatened enough by losing his HP's. :p_laugh:

However, the server was instable for some time now.

Remember beginning of this week Libra City could not be entered and some Galaxy maps too. After that middle of the week the next thing followed,  channel 1  and 2 being completely offline for hours. (including some stuck chars - all are free again as far as I know).

Yesterday I personally noticed some strange server things (some map changes took ages to load) way before the unplanned maint.

I would guess all of those bad things happening this week are somehow related.

 

My personal opinion is that one of the data bases (most likely the user one) got an error. Whatever error that may be, but it made it stop working. And what we see in game right now is the outcome of that.  :p_sick:

 

I would guess it are up to 4 more hours till the staff awakes. Regarding to my timezone and my poor math skills it is around 4:30 am overthere..........but math is not my thing.....so please correct me if I'm wrong with my calculations.  :p_smile:

I already mentioned this but assuming this is like the last time the game stopped saving progress, I don't think you need to worry all that much. If you bought IM items, the staff will return them to you after the problem is fixed. Other things you did in the game will just never have happened. So try to stay as calm as possible.  :p_smile:

For me, if DS going to international game there should have staff working at midnight!!! Why DS going to international game but still going on noob management like local game? 

This issue have been solve few month ago and why database error is happening again? I don't know how can i support DS for so long time and use so many cash on it !! cry hard

Why it is happening again?

 

Because things break. This is all about computers and computer parts. The database runs on a server, a server has many technical components of which each of them can break at any point.

Or do you know when for example the harddisk/the power supply of your computer breaks?

No, you switch it on and all you know in the situation it happens is  "oooh crap my computer stopped working it doesn't boot - but it had fine yesterday..."

Same for the warpportal servers, their components, all the technical parts. Technical things tend to break in the really most bad situations.

 

That a similar database error has been fixed in the past, does not mean this issue is based on the exact same error. There are multiple possibilities to what it is causing this time. Maybe a tiny technical piece within the  DS server just decided today "no, I'm out, I will stop working now".

 

As for the international thing, The problem is it is Saturday, the "normal" WP staff does not work on weekends.Popcorn already informed the staff he told us. Now all we can do is wait for a staff response. At time being it is still early morning in their timezone.

 

Noob management -  I'm sure you heard about the stuff going on with the development change. I assume in the background are much things going on at the same time, many different things. Such  a process is not an easy one, it is tough. And I'm about sure a "noob management" had not even bothered with trying to get DS development local at all. Gpotato, just as an example, sure had not....

currently its 7:47am server time, just fyi since im in the same time zone,

 

and yeah this has happened more than once, and each time its a complete roll back, I can't speak for what they will do exactly as im just a player, but each time they did a full rollback to the safest point previous to the issues, as others said if this is the case then it will be like you hadn't logged on since day/time "X" whatever was in your market at the time will be there, the gold you had, the exp/level you had, etc

 

I also wouldn't think this would have anything to do with physical gear, rather I would guestimate its more software, corrupt file, or some accidental thing that got switched off during the hades debuff

what if we got a screen shot of the item and gold can they give it back if we loose it after the roolback?. my rerrol got a massive ammount of gold that she will lost after the rool back..

my 2 cents - and there are people in game now trying to get people to give them money, people can also give their money to a friend, re-log and have their gold back and repeat, NO in a roll back everything is lost, there is no point in buying or selling anything until its fixed, otherwise scammy/glitchy people will be able to keep millions of gold as well, and items that they didn't earn with scammy/glitch gold, this is why they rollback

lol your slow xD. the server maintenance have started 40 min ago^^ the time for this maintenance is unknown for now just way until further notice
