This makes no sense at all...........

There are ways to avoid getting crystallized, there are skills that recover you from it, theres even a consumable(hard to hunt but on kRO people grind it like hotcakes) that recovers you from it and prevents it for the next 5~10 seconds............why this card will not be available on iRO really befuddles me.

 

this consumable is not self target. you must target someone, which is not possible to do under crystallization status, so your argument is void.

 

although I was excited to see this card implemented, I also don't mind that it is not, since crystallization effect is ridiculously OP (for a easily farmable card).

actually there is an update from kro that prevents crystalization status from being applied again before the previous ends. I think that update can justify bringing back sropho card. But god knows when we can get that update from kro

A quick question from the community (Not the CMs): What are those other ways to prevent or remove crystallization when you're ALONE? Yes, without any support from other players whatsoever. Since in pRO, the ONLY ways to get out of crystallization when alone are to have a high VIT and to make your SP to 0 and nothing else by changing equips continuously what cards/equips that depletes SP when unequipped. Aside from what I mentioned and that update from kRO, what else?

For a non MVP card , Sropho is too strong

Just imagine the ripple effect if it gets implemented.

The least thing I see is either the pricing equipments and items to counter it got sky rocket 

or you'll see human ice pops in WoE and PvP.

This was one of the cards that ruined pRO . pRO owners of this card may hate me but we all know ya didn't just kill a sropho and got the card.....it came from someone else .

specially for those Shadow Chaser that looks they have 500k hp, use pots at the speed of light and have infinites berrys, the only way to kill then? crysta but well, indeed the card is strong but its for 1v1 and in woe IMO the AOE its more important (DB, suicidal, AS, RC ) but its ok i guess

i mean, if that card is a problem, why dont disable DD from Sorcerers too? 5 secs cd is not a big deal when that effect duration is 20 secs even with high VIT just how much time that effect stay? 7 secs? 5 secs? i dont think less that 4 secs. oh and please remove Stasis too please, is too OP full screen. lol

We do afaik but the delay but the moment you crystalize , the next thing you'll see is either Kafra or the Inn .

 

They can't disable DD from Sorcerers because it's their natural skill.

Crystalization skill wielded by another class is another thing....just imagine the possibilites

 

Trust me , it's as good as Gameshark Gaming / Console Command On / sv_cheats 1 if a well geared and experienced player is holding it.

Even with or without ABs and Sorcs, it's still a problem. At least DD has 5 second cooldown and the target will have a little chance to do something unlike sropho card that procs every single melee hit by chance. That means, it can be inflicted again even if there's still crystallization status inflicted on the target even if it is Dispelled or Cleared (used Clearance).

I don't think the duration was the only issue, it was also the fact every-time you get crystallization to proc, the person getting crystalized would lose 2%HP and 1%SP per second. With a melee class that could hit you with 193 aspd constantly stacking proc upon proc, you would lose HP that much faster. You could use it to not only disable but to kill as well.

 

With diamond dust there is at least a CD between cast, so you can't spam the effect as fast.
