This morning, before work:

 

2x +7 Thorn Staff of Darkness

 

1st one: 4 ores to +9

2nd one: 6 ores to +9

 

1x +7 Erde

 

36 ores to +9

im telling you now

 

you have a 66% fail rate and 33% success rate ALL THE TIME

 

your twice as likely to fail constantly there is no 90% 20% 10% 50% you are just twice as likely to not succeed every single over upgrade.

 

also for certain objects such as bugged items PVP based items etc you maybe be 4 times as likely to fail per try overupgrade. but majorly most of the items are 2x more likely to not succeed.

 

this is about as fair a statement as any guide is telling you.

 

ive made enough +10 to know you can get 2 in a row or 0 in 15 tries

 

if you have the balls go for it

 

if you just cant see your bank total drop to.... like 10 zeny then spend million on ALREADY REFINED

 

you will get burned no matter how good you are
