Differences can happen when players drop from games and aren't recorded to the end of the match results. There's your offset reason.

 

Otherwise, we're sampling from
Total number of kills: 52,187

1 : Visitor
975 : Knight
6,964 : Champion
4,468 : Mage
1,673 : Cleric
22,034 : Raider
9,117 : Scout
6,499 : Bourgeois
456 : Artisan
 

Total number of deaths: 47,807

19 : Visitor

Thanks, aside from the average healing inflicted form clerics [which is going to be thrown off by BC's] that'll be all I need.

I would love to see more details about the data:
 
- What is the KDA of Raider/Scouts as attacker compared to defender?

 I can get this, if you truly want it.
 

- What is the winrate on Clerics solo compared to 2 support clerics? (because of the high damage clerics often die through burst, if there are two in one team it pushes the whole group to another level)

We are unable to track play styles or builds. Only basic class data.
 

- What is the winrate of teams without support clerics vs teams with support clerics?

Again, without the ability to recognize build and play style, I cannot provide this, but I could provide matches without clerics on either side, but that would take more time due to some complicated data mining needs.

First one would be cool!

Thumbs up for this new database in general! :no1:

However my final suggestion is still to decrease the damage in general, not by too mutch, but slightly.

 

I also think apart from that, all classes have their strengths and weaknesses, people just have to understand how to play properly (easier said than done).

769 AA's since the merge basically. <3

 

Everything looks as I figured it was. Now, is there anyway to look at a specific players statistics? :)

Data is not only fun to analyse, but it also helps when it comes to finding solutions to balance out everything.

That is something we're working towards in the future, and using it as a ranking base tool.

Data is not only fun to analyse, but it also helps when it comes to finding solutions to balance out everything.

I'll see if I can pull it quickly, otherwise it may take some time.

Using the term "KDA" doesn't apply since we don't have assists tracked, but it did spark some considerations to how we could include 'assists' in the future. :)

In any case, here's those statistics that were asked for between attacker and defender.

but those stats are skewed by the fact that, up until recently, attacking almost always won.. so theres not enough time for the system to collect data on defenders other than they died n got less kills

Ofc it is sarcasm i barely see any artisans around

as expected, they are designed for the foundry shops,

unless they are like the cook in under siege.

 

it would be fun to see artisans brave it out,

and with proper gear and skill set, i think artisans can survive pvps

Those were the days when the artisans are more than crafters. With recent stacking changes to other classes, i think its about time they get a rehaul of their skills. Other classes definitely outshine these artisans and oftentimes theyre just being looked down as crafters which imo is wrong and shouldn't be limited to such. Theyre now alright (mediocre) but compared to other classes theyre not so appealing anymore

More information at our disposal results in better adjusting our game play methods to provide more enjoyable and lengthy encounters, over-all increasing satisfaction with the game and it's various aspects. So in short, yes, more data is appreciated.

Mind you, I get tremendous healing, and shoot from afar. It's more... killstealing.. than it is me actually shredding those amounts of people :) Not intentionally mind you! I just click red, then click a new red.  Pew Pew.

 

This is a good point as to why kills are worth too many points, while perhaps damage and playing objective (like defending in fairly close proximity) are worth too little points.

 

In fact, I think you should post the entire total kill chart. For everyone. ;)

this is why there should be a rank system :D im sure everyone would like to see their "stats" over time

even a weekly rank would be cool (top 10 players based off their kd ratio or points or fastest dg, etc)

I made a suggestion going in this direction... initially posted it in general discussion so a large amount of forum user could see it and post their thoughts about it... then a very smart mod moved my thread to the suggestion section, section that barely anyone is actually visiting.

 

But, on the bright side, it seems something like that is being worked on, just a shame that the team isn't communicating their work in progress to the whole community (yes, I also suggested smthing in this direction).
