you chose to gimp yourself by having a baby char; if you can remain effective congrats. that doesn't mean that the knowledge of someone who doesn't bother playing baby classes is incomplete if they already know everything there is to know about their class and its various play styles.

The thing about baby characters is they're missing all of their trans skills, sure on ranger it doesn't matter because you only need like 2 buttons. On sura though, not having zen would be retarded.

To play a baby and be useful you have to know the most effective skills in your class to go with limited stats.

You don't have access to trans skills as baby character. I.e. you don't learn how/when to use these skills. By that logic, we should all successfully play perma first classes/novices if we want to get into some ranking. 

 

 

In the end it doesn't really matter who claims to be "S" or S³ - the best judgement comes from other players ingame. No one gets hurt though if people play around with realistic or unrealistic rankings here.

How exactly do you know that those S rangers only know those skills that you have mentioned above? From what I've seen so far, those on forums that put an S on their sig are people who knows what they're doing with their class.

People who are truly S in any given class are probably already well identified by other people. Like I could call out yagulol for example as a fellow S wonderswan.

Though its worth recognition that knowing those are all quite efficient multipurpose gears in the current turn in meta is knowledgeable, and dedication of funds to +12 those things is enough commitment for a B rating with the class imo.

What rank would you be if you don't have over upgraded gears but able to perform efficiently in super hard dungeons?
I mean those ones who have the right gears but not over upgraded but can solo a hard mvp(like ifrit) or stay alone in a hard dungeon(like bio3 for example) for a long time without dying and only using VIP buff and the least amount of consumables.

I never really tried but I'm pretty sure it's not inpossible. The armor I use for it is +9 but i don't think it has to be... The bow I use half the time is a +12 quad mali comp bow lmao.

I have similar +12 ww gears to that and look what I rate myself. Cuz I couldnt possibly build a competitive pvp warger or mvp hitlocker, or a good trapper. Im just plain not focused on ranger possibilities the way I am with gene or wanderer.
