No, especially in PVP. I just encountered a WL and I can't even get near him, Tetra Vortex does about 60+k damage and instant cast, no to mention White Imprison + Soul expansion which only takes 2 hits for me to get ktfo.

 

WL is even worse in PVP scenario.

 

You are not using the right gears.

What, WLs are cool, in fact mages are ok, you are not going to deal massive dmg or whatsoever, but you can do things perfectly well

Nah warlock can do ok dmg one thing i would want is to be able to do +12 Glorious Destruction Staff like dmg on other races and i would be happy

From what I've seen, SFB isn't much better than SoD. Here's why:

If only it was less rare, it would be amazing. You would/could card it with those % matk racial cards, without thinking you're wasting too much money.

 

For comparisson, SoD goes for 1~2kk on bRO.

Seriously, though, I've been buying all SoDs up to 750K lately (if someone here wants to sell them in bulk, PM me ), to MS them to +10 then Malangdo Enchant. It seems more plausible to get a set of +12 SoDs with racial cards than a set of +9 SfBs with double these cards. It seems even easier than having a single +9 SfB to be honest, but who knows? They should make +%MATK weapon cards like Archer Skel. A generic +5% MATK card would be much apreciated. The best generic matk card atm is DLE Int 3, which is expensive af (even though the price has been falling consistently) and sucks.

I'm expecting Elviras since forever and we're getting DL Essences instead. Oh well...

At least we have Celine. I'm getting 2 to 3 Mystical Card Albuns everyday, can't complain much.

 

On a random thought now... I never considered putting Int DLE 3 on my +12 SoD. Thoughts? Would YOU do it?

That's what I'll do with the first SoD that I succeed in +10ing, and with the first SfB that I manage to get. Most Ghost monsters are demon (damn you, Gloom! Why you no demon?!) race.

Timeholder exists in iRO, but the card still doesn't. I wouldn't. I'd rather put a Hell Apocalypse Card and try to make more SoDs later. Even at +10 with other racial cards seem better. I have a +9 double Spell 3 SoD with Cobalt Mineral, which I made to kill Big Bells at NCT. I'd put the DLE in a Thanatos Staff, though, since I mainly use the staff on my AB. These babies could be malangdo enchantable...

Immortal Wind Ghost card may be an alternative choice for Sunflower boy. At least you don't need to compete with other for Timeholder hunting.

Comming back to play after 10 years and first time on renewal. Went for a mage classe since it was one of the easiest and needed classes in classic but as a lvl 114 WL I'm feeling like I'm weaker than every other classe I see playing. 
On top of that I barely see warlocks around cities and high level place.

So what is the deal here? Spent a lot to get good equips on my WL and keep spending but I don't see it getting any better.

These are the gears you should aim to get. Also, there's a very quick build guide. Both Comet AND Tetra Vortex suck for general use, but have specific uses where they don't suck. Warlocks are REALLY underwhelming, but with the new cards that were JUST released, they should become stronger as soon as these cards become accessible, and this will be even better some time after Bio5 and 16.1 arrive.
