Light light maintenance this week, but we should be able to get Classic up at the regular time this week.

Event

Fishing event from last year returns to Classic. Guide here.

We're still having trouble getting everything properly communicating with the Classic test server. Campitor will be working with Heimdallr to get that up and running when Renewal 14.3 is out the door.

VIP bonus event continues for one more week

Update

Last main leg of the Cursed armor quest arrives, players will travel to Juno to pick up the Cursed Helm.

18637.png

Cursed helm stats:

Def/Mdef: 3/2

Position: Top/Middle

Effect: HP +150/SP +40

Set bonus: (coming next week)

Gives level 1 hide

if player is thief class, they get flee+10

Weight: 50

I hope my guide is still applicable for the returning event.

https://forums.warpp...-fishing-guide/

Been very busy as of late, so I won't be able to test out the recycled quest so soon.

Any form of feedback in regards to my guide is still appreciated, so please post whatever relevant information you may have gathered whilst doing the quest.

Thanks again.

Quests looks interesting. Rewards look pretty bad, considering the air pirate bandana hat is OP compared to those, and much easier to get.

I would like to see Elemental Armors (1) as prices for these kind of quests.

Slotted ele armors need in (hello TI points rewards system idea) but not for something as easy as that fishing quest. They are actually quite powerful armors.

that hat's pretty dang good for a quest hat. the level 1 hide makes it reeeeeeeal close to a wig, though i know the perma agi does sorta keep the wig better. still, 10 flee from a hat for thieves? swoon.

Probably the exact same thing we do. I think Camp is just super busy right now as 14.3 or whatever is due out on Renewal. So assuming things go well with its implementation this week he should have more time for us over the next couple of weeks.

But while we're talking about Guild Dungeons, Shomaye gave me tile/map details for the Guild Dungeons so I'm making this post again:

Luina (http://db.irowiki.or...info/gld_dun02/) - 60 total box dropping monsters, 7397 walkable tiles (200x200 total) ~123 tiles per monster

gld_dun02.png

Valk (http://db.irowiki.or...info/gld_dun03/) - 120 total box dropping monsters, 32340 walkable tiles (300x300) ~269 tiles per monster

gld_dun03.png

Baldur (http://db.irowiki.or...info/gld_dun01/) - 60 total box dropping monsters, 27688 walkable tiles (240x240) ~461 tiles per monster

gld_dun01.png

Brit (http://db.irowiki.or...info/gld_dun04/) - 57 total box dropping monsters, 24192 walkable tiles (300x300) ~424 tiles per monster

gld_dun04.png

Ok so you'll see that the only two guild dungeons worth using have a significantly smaller number of tiles per monster. But Luina has half the number of Valk and one quarter the number of the other two. Due to the size of the maps and the layout it's important to realise that you dont need to make the tile:monster ratio equal across all the maps. It's just the larger the dungeon the more likely things are to wind up in a corner far away from you, while on the smallest map with the narrowest of corridors (Luina) you can find the monsters anywhere you go.

An extra 20-30 monsters in Baldur brings the ratio down to 300-350 which I think may be reasonable due to the layout and smaller size of the map. Brit has the largest equal map size and the smallest number of monsters right now and another 20-30 would bring it to around 300-350 as well.

Also worth mentioning is there's still monsters in the Guild Dungeons that have useful items dropping at 0.00% this has been going on for months and months and months. If you would like a list of all these things I can compile them and give their drop rate on a normal server if you'd like, but can you please look into it.

I'd also like to add that, right now a majority (probably like 90-95%) of GSBs are being farmed from either Luina/Valk Guild dungeons by Lord Knights. These two other dungeons while not unfavourable to LKs are much kinder to some other classes. For example Wizards do very well in both Baldur/Brit, GC Saders/ME Priests do well in Brit. I think most people would appreciate an opportunity to play more than one class for the very important task of farming boxes.

You've also still got to throw in a patch to add the name for the Cursed Helm, it's still an apple right now.
