Hello everyone, 

 

During our WarpPortal Weekly event, it was brought to our attention that there was an interest in discussing future possible classes as well as discussing tweaks to current classes.   Here is the place for all your class deliberating!  

 

To get started, even if it's a small idea feel free to share and if it's a big idea, include as much detail as possible.

Future possible class?

How about New Race..

Since Noels looks like an offspring between an Elf and a Dwarf.

Let's introduce Giants (Character size as big as Knight Head Shun in morroc, maybe a bit bulkier)

Class :

1. Slayer (DPS Type, Heavy armor, high phys attk, high base HP)

Weapon : Two-handed Axe

Passive Skill : HP Regen every 10 seconds

Buff Skill : Increase Penetration by xx%

AoE Skill : Wild Swing

Special Skill : Final Strike (Deal damage equal to xx% of your max HP+SP to enemy, 2x damage when enemy is stunned)

 

2. Berserker (Tank Type, Heavy armor, high base Def, high base HP)

Weapon : Double Gauntlet

Passive Skill : + xxx% Threat

Buff Skill : Increase Dodge & Parry by xx%

AoE Skill : Earthquake

Special Skill : Protect Ally (Transfer xx% damage received from all party member to self for 10 seconds)

 

 

 

Tweak current class :
Monk = Please remove / lower Lightning Crush cooldown.

Well here I come to give a list of suggestions:
 
 
General:
1.- A skill tree for each class. Without having to share their primary skills, with another class, reason: When balancing a class the other is indirectly affected. (Of course all the other classes benefit from this).
2.- Improve the gameplay for classes, for example: Assassins, Monks, Knights, Priests. A balance will not make things better, possibly worse them, thus improving skills maybe works (Add a little difficulty using these classes).
3.- Skills: The damage must be different in both PvP and PvE. Avoiding ruin the gameplay in the two branches of the game.

 

 

 

Balancing classes:

1.- Swordman:
1.1.- Head Crush: Passive: Adds an effect of damage per second which can stack (a stack per skill level, to a maximum of 5 charges at level 5).

2.- Knights:
2.1.- Shield Boomerang: PvP Passive if the ability is dodged, missed, or execute a player, the chain stops. Besides that if dodged or failure; extra time is added to the cooldown of the same (As a personal experience a skill that has 15 second cooldown besides that has a passive to give you a 20% chance to reset is unbalanced not to mention a skill which could end with 10 players).

3.- Warriors:
3.1.- Bowling Bash: Passive: This skill restart the effect caused by head crush and add charges (One for each successful hit).

4.- Thiefs:

4.1.- Hiding: Remove the double damage at the be in hiding.
PvP Passive: If you are less than four meters from an enemy player, he will can see you.

 

 

 

I will be adding more suggestions (Skills, statistics, and other factors) for all classes in the coming days.

For Sorcerers:

 

Earth Emblem should be a little bit highe... with a 150% of healing boost, to equiparate Priest's renovatio... and also, I suggest the critical heals in Land of recovery come back again since it has a cast time and cooldown.

 

For Monks:

 

As Tanks they need to maintain aggro, but in a grinding party any good AOE DPS can exceed Monk's aggro because Lightning crush is has cooldown. I propose to erase that cooldown like Beast tornado in beastmasters, so they work out more as the tanks they are.

For Sorcerers:

Guys..instead of being willing to up sorc's (which are strong and balanced), you should nerf OP classes...making everyone OP won't change anything and at this moment if you think that sorc's need a up, then i guess you guys should get back to learning sorc (i'm not saying that you don't know how to play sorc) but with their ultra OP dps and their good heals, THIS class is balanced, the problem isn't sorc's, the problem is about other classes, so please nerf priest/sin/knight/monk etc....instead of making balanced classes OP classes as well.

 

(what else do you want, next step is 200% heal from earth emblem and 2000% for jupitel ?, the combot with fireball/frost and jupitel/spear is awesome and among the strongest combots, and the heal is DECENT for a hybrid class).

 

In advance please, do not say "but look at priests etc.." as i already said, THESE need a nerf, nerfing OP classes over making everyone OP please.

I would like to see Head Crush and Magnum Break being more useful in the future.

 

Currently Head Crush deals about 200 dot damage at its lowest 1/5, and I doubt it goes much higher with the skill maxed. How about 2k dot damage up to 4k with the skill maxed every 2 seconds?

 

Magnum Break is a skill meant to draw AOE aggro on the warrior, up to 3 enemies. Currently Mass Provoke and Brandish Storm are much more used to do so because they are more efficient in doing it. I don't have any solutions to suggest, but would like to see the skill being useful and used by more warriors. The lack of efficiency compared to those 2 other skills is not worth investing points in it.

          Personally, I don't find nerfing this and nerfing that will give the best solution. I tend to find that people tend to complain and ask for nerf because they want to have advantage in PvP. Each class has its own maint attack. ie priest with DoT, crec with pet, assassin with penetration and wizard with fireball combo. Comparison can be done in many way. For instance, Priest DoT can hit 10k per sec whilst knight or warr can hit more per sec. I am sure others can come up with their own method of comparison. Further, over time, new map will be released in which higher level mobs which inflict more damage (survival ability) and take longer to kill. Clearly, there is a dire need for formula to be looked at and analyse. Having said that, players also need to learn to be a team player. Many times I see players farm solo. Tank classes supposedly focus on tank, dps classes supposedly focus on dps, healer classes supposedly focus on heal. And as for dps & heal classes (ie sorc and priest) can go either way. Theoretically it is supposedly like that but practicality, I see too often people try too hard to do all tank, dps and heal at once. 

 

Also, there is a dire need to find better solution for classes with 2 weapons as they can utilise (1) 2 power seed or combination of the better and (2) more lines of hones which ends up giving them more advantages. 

 

 

 

ps.

WTB buffed Sorc Cast speed simply because sorc may sound like its balanced but lets have a look at its casting time. It takes forever!

Dot pet are so overpower that it's damage are 4 times higher than non-dot pet. For example dot from 3 star pet mermaid ticks 5 second against 4 star pet vador (boss pet) only 1 main skill every 5 second. Both pet deal AoE and imbalance

 

 

Suggestion: Make different version of WoE use only usual stat. PvP damage increase/decrease demand us to build entirely different set and expensive. This requirement make casual player stay from pvp at all and PvP content enjoyable for rich only.

Or just add Cast Speed honing polish or even

Leasfy ? if you think your cast speed is low..then do not try to play Wiz..else yeah you'll find sorcerer easy as hell..personally i tested sorc and if you use wind emblem your cast speed is GREAT but Well if you sue herth emblem that's normal if your cast speed is not so high, what did you expect xD ? mega heal and mega DPS ? i think thatSorcerer is balanced if indeed we know how to play it, when i tested it, i used wind emblem and my heals were decent , my DPS was strong and my cast speed was great (i hope you knew that wind emblem cut your cast time back. :) i agree it's not the strongest class but i saw you, you already know how to play it better than i do :)

are you saying "blah blah" cause you don't have anything else to say or maybe you are QQing ? Well i guess both of these ones, thanks anyways for answering :)

 

(In case you think i was arrogant towards leasfy, just keep in mind that i know her and as for me she plays sorc well and the "how to play sorc" was not intended as a sarcasm, it was how to play overall, gameplay+tactic), but i guess too narrow-minded to ask, i think with your (blah blah) you just bring personal emotions here, so well, Keep on ...you're doing it well but bring a constructive sentence the next time :)

 

PS: I apologize if ihave been seen as arrogant or too self-confident, i did not mean it this way,

The animation time for sorc is so sad and there is no way it can be buffed with polish hence I suggested for cast speed to make it up. For instance, summon aqua inflicts damage  no greater than cold bolt, but its rather poor at times has caused this skill classified as rather poor. 

 

As sorcerer, you would notice its either becoming a full support or full dps to get the maximum potential. Going half way will cut the potential by half, obviously.

But its not supposed to be like that

Tank supposedly be a tank

DPS supposedly be a dps

Healer supposedly be a healer

 

The whole idea is supposedly forming a flowy teamwork

Seconding this!! I would love at the very least new classes, at the very least more flavor to the noel race! 

 

I would also love to see class "renewal" like in ro1, after we hit ml50. Ahh the dream!

 Class Suggestion: The Bard

Race: Ayunix (Fox Human)
Description: Hidden in a capsule of one of Frejay's labortory, the Ayunix is half human and half fox. 
 
They too is infused with ymir, which has given them a power to turn music performed by their hands 
 
into deadly attacks or soothe their allies in battle. 
 
Class physical feature:
-Fox tails and ears with red tip
-Male or female 
-As tall as human
 
 
First Class Phrase: Bard
-Weapon: Flute
-"Sun Drums" (buff): Penetration +25, +50, +75, +100, +200
-"Tonk": Use the side of your instrument to bash an enemy. 
120% phy. attack, 158%, 185%
-"Empothee": Cause enemy to bleed, damage base on intelligence.
20%, 30%, 56%
-"Hymn": Restore health points to target and cure all aliments.
-"Titan's Dance": An song that hurt the enemy's health points.
-"Starry Skies": An song that decrease an enemy's attack.
-"Red Moon": An song that temporaliy raise your defense 5%,
-"Glass Neko": An song wave that does aoe damage.
-"Fan of Illusion": A song wave that boost your party running speed +30% for 30 second. 5 second cd.
 
 
Second Class Phrase: Composer
-Weapon: Harp [All skills from Bard tree can be used]
-"Dera's ballad": Increase ally's stats by 10% for 30 seconds Cooldown 5 seconds.
-"Statique": Revive a party member regradless of battle status. Cooldown 10 seconds.
-"Lasilk": Cast AoE 30 second regain on sp and hp. Cooldown 10 seconds.
-"Phoneix": A song that deal 800% m.dmg to an enemy.
-Hymn Mastery: lvl 5+ can aoe heals and aoe dispell people.
-Glass Neko Mastery: aoe damage+
-Titan's Dance Mastery.
-"Valor!": Decrease damage by 20% for 30 minutes. 10 second cooldown.
-"Vixen Lore": Cast hide on yourself, next song casted is doubled.
-"Ymir child of Caschi"
-"Green Mountain": A tranquil song that magically repair armor duration of one person. 1 hour cooldown.
-"Wind Struck": Damage + Push and knock down aoe. 10 second cooldown. 3 second knockdown.
 
 
Alternative Second Class:
-Weapon: Dradle

Its kinda essential to fix existing classes before adding new ones. This was discussed like months ago and I already have an alternate class for all 6 pre level 25 stuff with weapons / full skill trees. 

 

PLEASE FIX EXISTING CLASSES FIRST.

Its kinda essential to fix existing classes before adding new ones. This was discussed like months ago and I already have an alternate class for all 6 pre level 25 stuff with weapons / full skill trees. 

 

PLEASE FIX EXISTING CLASSES FIRST.

 

 

 

I already have storyline for this class created :c. The existing class is already fixed with gears and solvents. Anyways, GM please tell me whatcha think about Ayunix XD?
