Hello Dragon Saga friends!

 

I'd like to announce, that there will be a special update to Dragon Saga in the near future! Many players have made a request for this change, and we are happy to announce that very soon we will be able to introduce the ability for characters of the same gender to be Couples in game. 

 

While the Couple animations will not yet be available for this new option, all of the Couple bonuses will be the same. No special item is needed for this option, it can be done like every couple request/marriage, directly in the game.

I hadn't planned on posting any more, but for this I'll make an exception. Thank you, WP, for making the morally right decision on this issue. Even if Dragon Saga is just a computer game, this still takes the real world one small step in the right direction. Honestly, if the decision had been the opposite, it would have been one of very few things that would make me quit Dragon Saga.

Well that's great, I haven't played that much mmorpg but its the first time I see this feature. On a side note, please make another pve event. The game a little bit monotonous this day    . And maybe implement english only on trade chat at least.

I'm rather glad to see this. I'm a little concerned on how the trolls will deal with our LGBT players being able to marry, but this is wonderful to see.

Tbh the amount of hate that will or might come out of this move will be far less than the appreciation that others would have for having it. and for sure I am on the side that appreciates it. People can just ignore those who dislike either way for whatever reason, blatantly saying the dislike aloud as an insult is a completely different matter.
And really, I bet you others would same gender couple just for fun if they could.

If it is meant insulting it's still bannable.

This is something really difficult and it's not planned for a near future. The problem is that the male chars do only male animations and the female ones do only female animations, no matter if they're part of a same-gender couple. If I have the time I will show a video how this looks like. It's a bit funny though.

For example the kissing animation: male chars always kiss to the right, female chars to the left. So every partner in a same-gendered couple would kiss to the same side. That looks definitely funny but nobody wants it

Edit: I want to see two females doing the "hug" emote! Synchronized hovering!
