This is a nice advancement for dragon saga. Hopefully I can see a more populated server than it was before.
Dragon Saga is on Steam!

Awesome thing that just happened. But I think its a bit too early in there cuz lots of new people will get discouraged by imbalances in game and leave it I guess

Yes, some things should have been fixed before releasing it on steam. But anyway, I'm genuinely happy that something big happened to this game that I keep coming back to for such a long time. Good luck, Dragon Saga!
[edit] I'm just sad that some achievements that I love aren't implemented yet, like Godlike Control or Grind Master (if I remember the names correctly). Another question is, for the boss grinding achievements, is it single character only? Do you get +1 to the achievement progress if you kill a boss with an alt?

Uhrm, Godlike Control and Grind Master are implemented. I got both of them on my char...
Or are you talking about steam accounts and those?
Boss grinding, yes, it is char only. Each char has to get these achievements on it's own. They are not account wise, they always have been char wise. Nothing has changed with that.

Yes, I'm talking about steam achievements. I can't seem to find Godlike Control and Grind Master in the steam achievement list. I know that achievements in game are character bound, I was questioning whether it is character specific for steam achievements or not.

There might be some limit as to how many steam achievements they can have. Even so Godlike Control and Grind Master are two of those medals that actually require some skill/knowledge of the game to achieve. Think they are cool medals, if they aren't on that steam list they should be in my opinion.

Maybe they tried avoiding 1-time only or unavailable achievements (Achievements only possible through limited time events, card purchases from old server, that glitched level 80 achievement, etc.)

And it looks like the game wasn't ready for Steam yet since it looks very unstable (havent tried myself yet.)
I'm not blaming anything here, but F2Players on Steam are inflexible when it comes to bugs and P2W.

this game isn't P2W anymore, more like Pay-to-speed-up

I recently read Steam negative reviews and a few topics about DS.

The login issues have been investigated and they're coming from Steam's side and not from our side.
Steam is totally overloaded due to the Winter Sales at the moment.
Sadly most negative comments regarding the login issues aren't our fault.

But thanks for answering, I've been investigating it myself too and it's great to see that I've misunderstood with my first post.

how do you sync the dragon saga folder to steam folder to avoid it from redownloading?

Are these log in issues now resolved? I wish to start Dragon Saga with my existing account. But what happens now is that it automatically logs in my new warpportal account that I had to create when it launched on Steam. So that means it logs in an account that has no chars. How can I change this?

You can't. The account created through Steam's game is bound to be a second WarpPortal account. And non-Steam accounts can be used when playing Steam's game.
You can launch it without Steam active with the standard Patcher then log in the Steam account, but that won't change its content; because two accounts are simply different.

Hey, guys, can you help us out here? A friend of mine has a Steam account and decided to try out this game. But now he says he needs a "verification e-mail" to play that hasn't arrived yet to his e-mail, even after waiting for hours. What are we doing wrong?

I think Steam is the one going wrong.
