Hope it comes soon enough for you. As for me, I'm waiting for a new laptop to come hopefully this coming week. Cannot resume WIPs until then since pops already left with his laptop for abroad. /sob

Aw. Tried vector art before. Think it was called Gradient Mesh or something like that but it's quite different from the kind of vector I want to learn. If only that vectoring friend of mine is within arm's reach

Well i really doubt the colouring part cause im a charcoal painter.and colour usually doesnt go so well with it.I really wanted to do digital art and have a new wacom manga too but i dont have a proper software.I tried installing photoshop about 40 times but everytime it says its missing a file.

@shrikarash- if that would be entered then that would be unfair since most of the entries are RO related. I say go for charcoal, probably use 1 color (if it were colored) in that pic and use that as contrast (and eye-catcher) for your art, something like this 

 

when posting pics, upload it on sites like tumblr, DA, tinypic, imgur--- then get the url of the file (e.g. http://imgur.com/hello.png) then clicky this icon (you'll see it on the menus when replying to threads )

 

then paste the url there

Doesn't Wacom Manga come with a limited version of Clip Studio Paint? You can use dat for the meantime while your much desired PS eludes you like heck.

Ohh charcoal is really nice. You can still get really good contrast without color, which is still eye catching (just use a scanner, that's really important).

 

In regards to uploading, I usually just upload everything onto Photobucket and then copy & paste the IMG link to the forum, it'll automatically appear as an image after posting.

 

But you'll have to make a new topic in the Creative Contraptions thread, otherwise people may confuse your preview work as your submission

Or you can use tinypic.com, shikarash. It's what I use to upload my images to the forums. As usual, copy+paste the URL for forums it will provide you after uploading your image to the site.

Thanks for all the help I just managed to get Photoshop and am giving it a try on digital art. If it still needs practice I'll just go with charcoal sketching

my bad haha. D: i misunderstood him. if he doesnt have a scanner, best time to get photos (clear ones) are during mornings i used to do that before though you'd need a steady hand or tripod for it.
