Basically makes all transformation items completely dead. Few of them even have alternate effects, and only 1 or 2 of the ones with effects are even useful. Also really sucks for anyone who spent tons of actual money on Kafra Points to get scrolls from boxes.

Its third person not first person, and you can choose not to turn it off.

I like that, cause in WOE its easier to target a person rather than a lude.
And if costumes are removed in WoE i think those transform scrolls should be aswell.

can there be an option to turn off Satan Morroc transformation enabled by default and requiring a password to disable?

Disabling transformation scroll effect just makes it even more inconsistent with detecting nodelay in all honesty

So should we stop buying transformation scrolls and start selling them off? The buffs are OP, but the main reason that a lot of people use them is so you can't see classes and to make targeting harder. And what about the people that farmed a ton of candies? lol.

Your answer is pretty cryptic, sir.
So....you cannot use transformation scrolls to hide yourself anymore, right? Assuming everybody has this thing turned on.

If YOU (first person) use a transformation scroll on yourself then your's is maintained, but if another person (3rd person) chooses to see your default sprite over that then thats what the option is for.
By default all settings on this thing are set to "Show" until changed by the end user.

Assuming everyone had it turned on, and everyone used a transformation scroll, you would see:
1. Yourself as a monster
2. Everyone else as a normal player
Someone else would see you as a normal player.

SO THAT'S WHY I KEPT GETTING TARGETED SO EASILY

So transformation scrolls are now just buff scrolls, and if you stocked up on them to help hide your important classes, you should sell them off. I think that most people are gonna have this turned on.
How long until this is released, ish? And what's the approval process for the features that are getting added to it? I, personally, would have voted against this. So how do we go from "this is what we implemented" to "this is what we implemented and what's reasonable"?

Didn't you want transformations disabled for that exact reason in the past

Visible transformation scrolls make it more difficult to detect nodelay. Currently, you would need to train the GMs to know what nodelay looks like with every different monster sprite. Having it disabled means nodelayers will look "consistent."

...I think the GMs need to be trained to know what nodelay is with normal sprites as is :v
Of course GMs should have tools like this, but should players?

The scrolls should just be disabled if people are going to complain this much.
People are using them to rampantly NDL more than what they are "intended" for.

The last sentence, imo. This effectively rules out an important part of what transformation scrolls have become. Being able to hide mechanics, stasis warlocks, rangers, etc. So I can see a feature like that being great for the GMs, but for the normal player, I don't think it belongs. Which is why I was asking how are features being accepted into the project.

You've had your own version that disables transformations for a very long time, so I don't think you should be the one trying to champion this issue.

I totally get where you're coming from, but the sheer amount of people who use monster transformations to NDL is through the roof.
It's not really fair if they keep including these in lucky boxes, no. Especially if the ones in the boxes give no effect other than it transforming you.
