Genesis has a big job ahead of him to make this game interresting and fun again. My first impression of this upgrade is that it is a bit of a failure, and why does the Angelic Charm has fixed values now. No point in investing any money there

Just tried Hall of Oblivion, the boss burnt us at 2k in less than a sec, even the knight couldn't survive lol
R.I.P
What element is the boss in HoO? My clannie was having a similar problem in CoU until he added an element. Ulvrick is poison and according to this
poison is strong against neutral. So he added an element to his armor (I think he added fire) and now he can tank like he did before the update. I bet the same would apply here. It's worth trying at least.
@ Draquora All stat buffs are a flat rate now, not just Angelic but they do stack so if you have a cleric's all stat buff and a buff from someone else (like the dex buff from a hawker for example) your dex will be +30 . Honestly that +65 to all stats was kind of unrealistic if you think about it. Now with buffs being % based, they will enhance what you strong in and not just a blanket amount for everyone regardless of their build and job class.

Bosses in HOO are Holy.
Anyway we did HOO on Arua without much problems but it's painful on Pegasus.
The burns are really fast and draining your HP to 0 in seconds if you don't purify fast enough.
Talking about buffs scaling by %, I think heals should scale by % as well,
because now heals take more time to successfully recover your target's HP,
the MP cost is ridiculously high on low level with low MP pool: More than 1000 MP cost to cast Integrity (Party) on a low level cleric with only 3,000 MP.
Scale MP cost by % of MP pool will be more accurate and allow low level clerics enjoy their games.

Mammy and Mummy are Ghost type, not Holy. Unless they changed it.

1st and 2nd bosses are Sorcery
Monsters are Sorcery and Holy
King and Queen are Ghost.
Thanks Feuer, I took some ss and just took a look at them again.

Golems are Earth, the Falcon Mobs are Wind/Water, Mummys are Ghost. I don't know which mobs are Holy, I've never seen any holy mobs in game.

CON is a garbage stat now. It no longer gives Critical, meaning it only gives accu [and AP on certain weapons*] Please add Critical Defense and HP/MP Received Rating on this stat.
SEN is now also a garbage stat. It no longer gives a Defense to Criticals, it's AP contribution is laughable, and it's Critical Rating scale is low for non-crit passive classes. Please increase the AP contribution from 0.1 : 1 SEN to 0.25 : 1 SEN. Also give this stat Status Resist Rating, and a Critical Damage Rating.
DEX outside of being a Hawker is under valued. Outside of Hawkers it provides a laughable Dodge bonus, and secondary AP on certain weapons. Please give this stat a DoT Resist Rating, an HP / MP Recovery Rating, and a Def Pierce Rating.
All other class stats are fine.
As someone who mostly does not agree with your suggestions, PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS MAN.
And on another toppic:
-Katar raiders: pretty much useless now, something has to be added to make them more viable in teamfights (I invite the GM's to watch clan wars in Cartel and you will see what i mean), katar raiders which are supposed to be assassins, cannot assassinate anyone since the moment they get close to the priority targets (clerics, mages, bourgs), they just die to aoe burns in less than a second.
My suggestion: add some sort of a gap closer, maybe like a blink that will move you a few meters in desired direction that has increasing mana cost the more you use it.
-the amount of crit defense you get from CHARM is useless, I get crit tons on 1094charm chars (and not from classes like axe champs who rock tons of crit)
-stop the whole DOT effects stacking, nothing can survive 3 fire mages aoeing at the same time, you just get deleted.
-Healing over time is too weak and prevents clerics from healing the right targets (might have to do with the smooth animation thing)

Base crit defense is nonexistent and sen hardly raises crit chance. It needs to be harder to get crit but more rewarding for people who invest in sen since those should be the people who crit

HoneyBunz, thanks for clearing that out. I agree that 65+ is a bit overkill but i still wonder how I, that dont do dungeons, can get the advanced material. Genesis wrote that by doing valor daily quests or dungeons i would get them, so what daily quests is he talking about?

HoO Daily: Started in Oblivion Temple near the purple portal.
CoU Daily: Started in Desert of the Dead
SoD Daily: Start by Shaman in Eucar [Luna main city]
SC Daily: Starts inside the Dungeon itself.

Thank you, but these quests, what I can see, are not quests that I can do on my own. They look more like dungeons to me, so until there will be quests i can do on my own or materials can be obtained in other ways i will not continue to play. I am a solo player, dont like to play in parties and most of the changes, not just this last one, is to make people play in parties, but thats just not me

This material you want, can you buy it with valor points, or is it a reward from a dungeon? There are valor quests available from the faction NPCs in Junon, Olleck Basilasi in Eucar, and an NPC in Muris. If you are in Junon Polis, and happen to notice a message in your system chat that an NPC is shouting something, it is one of the Shout quests. They are easy to do, and give a decent amount of Valor Points for the effort.

These are Holy.
Then those are newly changed mobs. They were ghost before, not holy.

I wondered why the pegasus burn damage is greater than the live server?
because the burn damage Pegasus server is larger than the Arua?

Hey Rosearians,
I've got 30 min left on my mage's reset so I need careful factual advice stat.
Does his Sorcery skillset (no additional element invested in any eq) deal bonus damage against poison type monsters (specifically CoU mobs and Ulverick)? We're talking Elemental Spike/Wave, Mana Bolt/Spear etc.
If someone could tell me yes/no in a clear way I'd greatly appreciate it. Due to circumstances I won't be able to buy another reset so I need some believable facts.
Blessed Be.

Thanks for the link and not actually confirming that the elements already on the skills apply as they're supposed to apply. Anyone else?
EDIT: I've been told that the increase is around 5% of weapon damage. Still, my mage's skillbuild hangs in the balance, so please confirm or deny whether the elemental attributes apply to the Sorcery spells vs Poison types situation as I described. Many thanks.
Blessed Be.

Here, let me help you
The elemental system is one cohesive system. Elements from Ammunition, Skills and Imbuements are all counted as the same, and thus apply in all situations.
The priority order of those portions are as followed:
Weapon > Ammunition > Skill
As you can tell, Skills have the highest priority, meaning even if you imbue your weapon with Fire, then use a Sorcery skill, the final element used will be Sorcery.
TL;DR
Yes, your Sorcery skills will apply their bonus when attacking a Ghost or Poison type enemy.

These updates is great since it would be a good addition to refresh those old normality, but Dual Raiders,Mage is controlling the scene with most OP damage 1 skill and 8k of hp gone, not to mention 1 bourg with AOE can kill 4-5 players in an instant, they are all OP

I suspect the other classes haven't adjusted their gear and tactics yet. Everything has a weakness, after all.
On another note: if the cold ammo were to get a teensy, tiny slow on attack that'd be 1 item from my wishlist off.
EDIT: Is it possible to get a Valor refund for scrolls and such? Say I bought the wrong scroll (offensive instead of defensive). I know some Valor items can be disassembled to return a few Valor points, does that work for the scrolls too? Would be nice to get the cost or close to it in Valor back.

Actually Mages don't have a weakness. Seeing as the only class that has high magic defense and a block magic mechanic is Clerics, there's nothing other DPS can change gear-wise to help. The only other option is to find a Mute in your skill tree and hope you don't die before you use it. Magic Defense won't help you due to their 2 M.Def Downs [Aural + Mana]. Even without that effect up, that can HP cap you. Thanks to their 250-415% skill power and now 34%+ Enhance Damage w/ roughly 1.8-2.2k AP.

That doesn't mean that they have high effective health. Clerics have low base health, so even though they take less magic damage they have a smaller health pool to make use of their resistance.

They have an infinite effective health, they can heal.
