Considering it's in the trash bin of the internet, that'd be impossible. Goodluck.

As I read this he means...
He did a lot of Halls of Oblivion games with different groups. And even if he and his groupmembers have decent gear, it happens regularly, that they die at the king. At least once.
He only met one or two player, who did not die in HoO.
So he thinks, that the champ is not very special in dying easily in HoO.

Halls of Oblivion is one of the fun dungeons along with Sikuku Catacombs, but a few minor changes are needed in my opinion.
- Slighly reduce the burn damage in Halls of Oblivion.
- Make the Halls of Oblivion daily quest for King/Queen the same so you can complete it without having to be lucky for the right boss.
- Look into the daily quest for Halls of Oblivion where you need to collect the Urns/Tombs, sometimes there are not enough for one run.
- Some other bugs for this dungeon that I will not go into detail in this post, sutch as:
Sikuku Catacombs:
- Fix the gloopy HP bug.... PLEASE.
(This happens 100% of the time if gloopy drops below 30% hp before he goes into the exoskeleton form) - After unlocking gloopy it would be nice if all sewer doors would open.
- Stealth classes are/can seen by the blobs inside the sewers (very buggy too)
- Increase the timer for the Shaman orb drop, seems a little fast for most people.
(Could use 1-2 seconds longer, so people actualy have a decent chance to move away) - Occasionaly it happens when people do the quest inside the dungeon and members are not awarded with the quest rewards, for example the crates for the maps or the Rod for the guard proofs.
Just a couple of small things I have noticed/experienced over time.

But personally I think the Queen/King thing is not a bug... it should be like this.
If you are refering to the daily quest, then yes it probely is not a bug.
But... a daily quest should be completable with ONE dungeon run!
that means that the quest should tell you to get proof to kill the Queen and/or king so that both count towards the proof for the daily quest.
I find it very very frustrating to do the same dungeon multiple times, just to complete the daily quest.
(That is if you are unlucky in getting the right boss)
It hapend to me multiple times, where I tried to complete the daily Halls quest, and I ended up doing the dungeon like 5 times without being able to complete the "Kill king/queen" quest.
Now, usualy when I don't get the boss in the first try ill give it a 2nd shot and if I still don't have the right boss after the 2nd run I just toss the last quest away...

In short what Cortiz is trying to say,
Upon a completed and successful dungeon run, they daily should be complete.
The part I find particularly annoying about HoO, is that you don't know if you're going to get to complete it until you've already defeated 2/3 bosses and delved to the very last small room.
I think the solution is to change the Boss daily for HoO from King or Queen to simply 'Boss'. Both should drop the same quest item, and the daily requires that item.
However, I'd like it if the thread stayed on topic, which is Champions get the most brutal treatment in HoO [if you exclude Artisans] when it comes to the King/Queen.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm sorry for keeping commenting on this although it's not related to the topic.
But take into consideration, this is not a bug, it was intended.
Gloopy was designed so that it would require the players to do just enough damage before
he does into the exoskeleton form. That's it, just enough.
I've met many people who didn't realize how it worked, and concluded it a bug.
Remember SC was introduced as a dungeon where bosses had some aids & abilities
to cast skills or summon allies just to bother the players.
(I mean, although other bosses in the other dungeons did the same thing, but it didn't require
any specific strategy or plan to kill them, they were just meatballs).
So here we have Gloopy, one of those who asked players to come up with a plan, some adjustments
and collaborations between among the members in the group.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sorry if this is too long
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As I explained my assumptions in a thread of mine following the introduction of Sikuku Catacombs,
(Well it's a bit outdated now)
Fighting Gloopy can be described as follows:
I hope this help make clear up about fighting Gloopy, which is bug-free the boss itself, and requires strategy to end
with least time.
MMM HAVE ANY ONE TRIED TO MAKE HIS ARMOR WATER ELEMENT IN THAT DUNGEON
i think it's good to maybe stand a little longer and it's good against the fire of the booss
which is Champions get the most brutal treatment in HoO [if you exclude Artisans] when it comes to the King/Queen.
feuer
i think all male type take the heat really bad not just champs
Thanks for the post Tang, appriciate it.
Im very aware of how sc works, and some things changed a while ago too, example: the green puddles they now reduce healing instead of giving you damage.
They should just make some minor adjustments to gloopy's HP drain system too, so that if you do more then the intented 3,33% damage to gloopy per skeleton form it just doesn't get stuck with his HP if you get it below the last 30% thats all.
I think a good solution would be to make it lose 30-50% of it's current HP instead of it's max HP per skeleton form, regardless.
This would only make for a more stable fight that all players can understand and not resulting into the stuck HP when u deal more then the intended 3,33% damage per skeleton form.
Ofcouse when you would implement this it's defence would need some lowering
Just my opinion.
Swear to god, if one more person tries to tell me that I don't know how Gloopy works, I'm going to find them in-game, break their friggin neck, DRAG the limp dead corpse to SC, and use them as a meat stick to beat Gloopy to death it so you have a front row seat at him being buggy. I know how Gloopy works, EVERY serious dungeoneer knows how it works, and if I have to read one more condescending post like that I'm going to lose my calm.
I should have used @Cortiz as I was referring to his post.
It was not meant for you Feuer. lol
Just to make it clear that it is not a bug, even a lot of people say so.
Trang. When gloopy had 2% HP, and goes into Exo=phase 5 god damn times in a row, that's a god damn bug. Stop telling people there isn't a bug with Gloopy because it's preventing it from being taken seriously. So for the last time,
GLOOPY
IS
BUGGED
-at times-
Clearly if alot of people think it's a bug then something should change in my opinion.
Not nessesarly making it easyer for everyone but fixing the issue with gloopy I and many others has already pointed out
Did you use Venom knife before that happened?
