I should specify that I am on Classic, and I definitely have enough room to pick up everything. Also the quest has been pretty wonky the whole way through (ie. I've had to log out and repatch to get some people to talk to me in the first place). Trying again to get the bones from the pile_of_sand and it keeps saying that I should pick them up, but doesn't actually add anything to my inventory.

 

Nevermind, on Classic you don't get an item, just walk back to Jakk after you talk to the sand and get your very own Leaf Cat

VIT has always increased the effectiveness of HP recovery items, much so like how INT does to SP items.

After doing it once check your Alt+U quest log for the cooldown timer, you can repeat it after that time/date.

Is there any relatively easy way to get back to Niflheim for this? I mean, they warped you there the first time. Will they warp you back for quest turn ins? And if not, what are other ways to get back there?

Well, you are so close to your cat, so.... warm. Maybe if you think about the pet, and incubate your thoughts you can figure it out!

You get it as a reward for completing the Pet Quest posted on Page 1 of this thread. Both the pet and the accessory are given to the player by Jakk for returning a pile of bones. If you happened to lose it or somesuch, you can buy it off a vend on Ragial. Or do the quest on another character.
