People just can't adapt to change. Gramps is like one of those resorts you go to that have fenced in hunting areas.

it's up to you level with gramps, there are many good options outside TI, like scaraba, NCT, bio2, Eclage Tower etc..

What about it isn't working?

I think the main problem of this map is the team without gwing will need to walk backward eventually...And it will waste time to walking backward because it is less likely monsters will respawn on the way back :p_swt:

Oh, it will teleport to other side of the map? :p_omg: Thats why it says "Event" in the patch note?

At the end of the maze portion will teleport you back to the entrance.

There are also the walls which block the view of the players. You can't aim at what you can't see.

this map encourage player to use gwing.

IMO ideal TI map is a circular map that people can explore it clockwise/counter clockwise. plus some shortcuts at center (or other portion) to connect some places. that's why places like gef_dun04 or abyss03 are good.

 

that's why i said on maint thread, isnt Osiris map (moc_pryd04) better?

GMs, just do AL3 and save yourself the trouble. You don't have to be creative when it comes to gramps TI maps.

I set it up so you can still do a circle.. but in a maze pattern. With the warps added the map will properly loop.

See, you're not in the zone when it comes to leveling on RO.

I believe the worse part is when someone joins in later, they have to wing to their team mates and this can be a bit challenging with something maze like.

There's also the problem of running into two parties. It's common to see party members following a mass of people and it leads to a bunch of ksing and confusion.

All of the problems can be fixed by Gwings, however not all parties will be using them.

I believe you're expecting too much from players and thus is creating a poor map choice for players to utilize. Please reconsider bringing back AL3 or Payon Cave 1 to save yourself the trouble of dealing with a poor map choice. Instead of fixing a problem that was created, just avoid it by giving the map a replacement.

well... my physical RK leveled doing scaraba, bio2 and some mora bounty boards and some grind using battle manuals. the rest was few bio4 rounds to 155 and then solo to 175 in NCT :b

The new hiTI map is better then the previous map.  So i am happy.

But as others have mentioned its painful for parties to keep the people together if they dont have g-wings.

 

The map isnt bad, and i really love the loop.

      But to keep everybody happy gms should rotate the hiTI maps more often. Every 1-2 weeks at least.

I believe people are mostly complaining because the "unwanted maps" are staying in too long.

People wont complain as much if the rotation is every week or every other week. 

 

[Another funny idea. it would be sooo cool if : hiTI gramps could warp us to geffenia with all 4 maps! and different monsters on each of them with different density ]

Response to bold:

Have you ever been in Low TI (payon dungeon)? Granted it's not big, but it's kinda the same. Gotta wing to safely find the party. 

 

What could be done, is adding more portals to let you walk "through walls" so-to-speak.

payon low ti has many "tunnels" as connectors to connect popular camping spot at northeast and southwest. lone people winging to catch the party can just landed on some connectors and be able to catch them soon. also still good for walking party since they can choose some routes to take.

while this pyramid is only 1 way road (okay, there are some portals), no connectors and etc, so if you are eft behind and wants to catch up, you need to tele exactly on the spot of your party is, coz there is no way to catch them using some 'tunnels' etc since there is only 1 way road.

Let's go back to using a real map so that

Mvps are back on the TI maps

You can go even if you don't have the TI

You can also go if you aren't in lvl range

im lvl 172 and im in low ti hunting zipper bear that i dont know the reason why im hunting the cards... geez poor low ti mobs i one shot them with my mighty no limit arrow storm hahahaha
