So today we got JRO package 2, and I do think we might need to buff the god items, otherwise WOE looks like we are using some 21th century weapons to fight for the ownership of weapons from WW1.

I think one of the way is to make all god items become enchantment instead of gears, just like fight spirit, spell, etc

The new garment can replace bryn, and gene no longer need meg, new accessory is so damn good, temporal boots is much better than sleipnir, no mention it has slot. Asprika is totally a joke. Necklace is also useless unless u want instant cast, and in this case SP enchantment is a better choice. The hammer? Hurricane or KVM is much better for damage.

Bryn is still amazing, Genes will still use megs to do optimal damage, temp boots are better in most cases, but sleip still has a niche.
Asprika has always been a joke. You didn't even mention bris, which is a far better comparison to being outclassed by new gear. Even then, it gives extra healing and more stats.

Yea, I agree that god items are still useful, but we also need to consider the Cost-Effective, it's just too expensive.

Then let them drop those items, if there's anything to do with God Items, it's to use them as part of recipe in making better God Items. or just leave them be, no need to scale

Oh I think your IRO missed the WoE TE god items upgrade quest It was updated on KRO in September 2014, before those cat 1 year!

TE god item is also kind of weak now, that 35% range reduction shield is much better.

The God items were created when most of the characters in the game where below level 100 and when third classes just came in to being (I believe)>

 

They were balanced to be OP in another time where different things were OP. Nowadays what is OP is kinda different, so God items need to be brought up to speed. The simple thing to do is give them extra effects that, at least on some level, emulate current OP gears and/or MvP cards. Make Mjolnir increase damage on all sizes by 50% and I bet you it'll mean something to people.
