If you ASPD is low you will barely see any benefit from cart cannon.

Why? Is it that noticable for CC if you have CHB? I assume it has something to do with animation delay? Im currently at lvl 150 and I dont see any problem/delay Spamming CC.

Animation delay helps. Cast lv 10 blessing on yourself or ask someone to bless you. Pop agi foods, berserk and enriched celermine juice. You should notice a difference.

yes, it is true. There is a difference between berserk potion, bathory trans candy, agi foods.

Damn, this thread is up again. After reading all these Sera or Dieter post I'm starting to regret getting a Sera.

 

But whatever, it's not like I'll have a party with me whenever I go MvP hunting or do something with my Gene.

 

Don't regret it bro, She will save you tons. You can also farm easier =)

I'm too lazy to do my instances on my Sera genes already, only doing on Dieter genes now.

At first I had one gene...made sera...maxed it and then got bored...so I fired her and literally deleted her to make a dieter....then I missed sera...so I made a second gene with sera

With the amount of leech gears in the game now, there's really no need for a sera in my opinion.

 

I run through bijou, buwaya, summoner (drake/stormy knight), central lab without using a single pot usually.

I would agree with doomsquare - with all the OCP items dieter indeed has an edge over sera - I own both as well and when I do the same instance on both genes...I always do the one on sera first cuz it's slower and the difference is definitely noticeable...so then I when I do the instance again the second time back to back...it feels easier with dieter

but that is not to say sera is not useful in some situations..I can fight SK with its two hatii's at ease with sera...but die much more easily with dieter

I am in the process of leveling an Eira and my 6th gene xD

 

hope it will be my new fav for ET. The flee should allow me to not get those pesky position lags.

Dieter is what separate the men from the boys. 200 atk is just too much to miss out. But never had Sera, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I noticed a big increase of genetics leveling their new fresh homunculus in Orc Dungeon 1. I wondered if this thread had anything to do with it

I doubt it has anything to do with this thread, dont think geneticists with lv.130-150 Sera will give up for Dieter just by reading this thread, you also overestimate how many ppls actually read threads on Warp Portal Forum. More like Orc Dungeon 2 is off-limit given how crowded it already is.

so would it be adviced to go 120 str/dex but also pump some points in agi (~20) if  you wanna keep PK active? Or is it enough to pop eden buffs and trans candy for smooth cc spamming?

Sera is good for Genes who want to take it slow but safe. With leech gears+pain killer+reduction gears you will easily solo most instances.

My Eira just gotten overboost and I love it way way more than PK. Fast aspd, and most stuffs can't hit you 1 on 1

If you don't want to kite and be lazy, PK is still the best however.

Ohhhhh Doom!!! Good to know you have an Eira. I was actually thinking of making an Eira! Can you spam CC? I heard there are drawbacks to overboost like sp drain and more expensive to feed? I want to hear your thoughts!

As a gene player, one must not stinge on the pesky cost of foods for homun. It's very very very insignificant compared to the gears/supples/bombs/balls used.

 

Yeah SP drain kinda sucks, it drains 50% of your max sp everytime Overboost ends, just gotta not use it when you have less than 50% SP, or bring some pots. Together with a +10 EDA, sp has never been an issue.

 

The most beautiful part of having an Eira is that you only need to level till you get Overboost, unlike Sera and Dieter which requires level 150 for the full effect to be unlocked.

Ok cool. I will not take the expense into consideration, same with the sp drain. I got those same equips too so I should be ok.

Regarding the overboost benefits, what can you share?

The only benefit is the 189aspd and 500 flee which are both really nice. Was doing some casual leveling on my 141gene in Verus and NTF, most stuffs don't hit me unless I mob
