Can someone explain me? It's such a inconsistent and anti-intuitive skill, the direction it pushes towards seems random, sometimes it will hit everything around you, sometimes just 1 monster, etc. Why is it?

u put it on f1 and hit f1 then left click mob run around do it more n they all die

So, as long as I'm not on the gutter lines or the demi-gutter, it's guaranteed to hit everything in a 3x3 cell around the mob?

it hits 3 times when you do it right, and it hit once when you do it wrong including random push... see those 2 vids u will have clue... there are hidden lines and you can't use BB on those lines coz it will be 1 hit + random push mob, and it shows only in RCX. but idk if its illegal on restart or not.

The second video is using RCX.  So now I have to ask -- does RCX work for this version of Ragnarok Online?

Curious too because it sucks that when I get a whole mob and hit a bowling bash only to find out I'm on gutter line, and then having a hard time dragging them out + spamming pots.

Doubt it works since restart uses the renewal client.

If ever you're stuck in a gutterline, then use endure and move 6 cells at a diagonal (up-right, down-right, etc.) and then retry.

 

I find it best to memorize certain "spots" on maps that are safe and simply drag mobs there. With the X,Y coordinates now constantly showing, you should have an even easier time.

Ok I'm trying to get the hang of bowling bash but I have a question. I dragged a bunch of monster and hit my bowling bash successfully, but it scattered my mobs and my subsequent bashes can't hit all of them.

I don't think it works anymore, but anyway it is illegal. What you can do is edit your data.grf to show the gutter lines on the ground, which is totally legal, as stated here
