There are p.servers who wants all the players for 'emselves.
Not only they are publishing Ragnarok Online without license, they are also doing those kind of stuff.
Which should be > a few years of jail time at least.

It's just us who have the logijn issue , botters dont care bcoz they're auto reconnect everytime the server is up.

I know there is protection that exists that helps prevent this type of attack (or, at the very least, mitigate against). What I don't know is how expensive that type of service is, and if that is the reason why Gravity hasn't seen fit to utilize this type of service. Ragnarok is not the only game to have gotten DDOSed over the years, however, it is the only one that has experienced so much down time because of it. Granted, I've lived through years of DDOS attacks on the various Ragnarok servers.
This is not an attack on the employees who must live with the lashing out of frustrated players, including myself (/sorry), however, we, as players, do not have the ability to vent to those in the company who make the decisions concerning cost/benefit and what they are willing to pay for, so we must hope that our concerns are passed on from those who see it (again, sorry Campitor) to those who have the ability to act upon our concerns. I feel for ya guys, I do. xxoo

In a sense, they are separate. I know you don't know what it means to be DDOSed, but understand everything internet related is going to suffer on their end. There's a reason DDOS attacks are illegal on a federal level.

Yeah, man, they suck (ddos). Luckily, cloud services like Azure and AWS, allow for replication, and in the event of interruption, a 'copy' in a different physical location can be brought online quickly. Granted, these services cost money. I have only the experience of hosting a web-app on Azure App Services in development, so the costs are relatively low, but I know they can quickly climb with usage increases.
I really wish that there was an easier way to go after the scumbags that do this type of *$#@. I have little patience for people with no empathy and no concern for others.
