Help .. !!

 

i run this program as administrator.

My iRO won't Update Patch Automatically.

But still can open and login.

My iRO always "Disconnect from server" after choose a char.

 

I update patch manually

But still "Disconnect from server" after choose a char

Please try the following:

 

Important:

If you are using a specialist Antivirus or Anti-malware (E.g Avira, Bitdefender, AVG...) then please make sure Ragexe.exe and ​Ragnarok.exe are white-listed.

This is because this update comes with a new exe, some applications may flag the file as malicious.

 

Assuming your client was last updated on September 14th 2017:

  1. Restart your device.
  2. Clear Internet Explorer cache, if you don't know how please check Appendix #2 in this post.
  3. Download patch.inf from this link, make sure to read the instructions carefully. For Renewal the default location is C:\Gravity\Ragnarok Online

Let us know how it goes.

Hi,

I did't use any Antivirus and Anti-malware.

Based on your Appendix #2, my Internet Connection can open ftp://ftp.adobe.com/ , ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/ , ftp://ftp.hp.com/ , ftp://ftp.intel.com/

I have download that patch.inf and replace the old one

 

I can't run Ragexe.exe, Error window popup appears.

 

I can run Ragnarok.exe , i can login , and appears my chars

When i chose my char, appear popup window "Disconnected from server".

 

Any suggestion ?

i just notice that,my ragnarok.exe wont patch/always error when patching

is there any link where i can manually patch it ?

Verify that you have the updated client and that it matches the latest release by checking client's serial code, if the code is not present or doesn't match then you will have trouble logging in.

 

To do so, launch Ragnarok.exe, proceed as normal to the game client main screen, check the code at the bottom right of the screen.

If you can't see the code then please pull the Gravity bar down.

sometimes no clientinfo error message

sometimes its not patching

 

*edit : now i got 2017-09-21data_gm_desc_r (unpack error) message

First verify that you are able to make connections to patch server.

Visit this post, and check suggested solution #2 [The updater fails to connect to the server].

 

If you are able to make connections fine without issues then I'd suggest going with a reinstall, you should not be getting no client info error on Renewal client.

 

In case you are on a metered connection or somehow big files are failing to download then please try manual patch method, visit the FTP server and manually download the problematic files, place the files in your default game folder, relaunch the patcher.

Where are you getting the exe from?
It seems like your client is not properly updated and possibly corrupted, please consider a fresh reinstall :(.

I can't get past through the character selection screen. After I select a character I always get a disconnected. I tried using VPN but still it didn't work. I believe I have patched properly with the updated files. Am I missing something? Or are we currently being under DDoS attacks again? -_-

No its not under DDoS

 

and in my case, i just doin some manual patch and keep try to patching until the problem is solved

no reinstall,no restarting the pc

1. Un-install the game. Reboot your PC.

2. Install the game (make sure it is installed in the root directory or anywhere else except the Program Files folder). Go to the game folder, right-click Ragexe & Ragnarok.exe separately, choose Properties. In the pop-out window, click on the Compatibility tab, check the box that says "Run this program as an administrator" followed by Apply & Ok.

3. Download the following folder: https://drive.google...REhXYjFncEtYdlU which contains almost all the patch files released since February until 21st of September 2017.

4. Scan it with your AV of choice, extract the contents to the game folder.

5. Run the desktop short-cut or Ragnarok.exe inside the game folder.

6. Once it has successfully patched, close the patcher, Re-open it again to confirm it isn't downloading and unpacking the patch files again. Finally log into the game and see if you still have error messages popping up.

If the issue is resolved, delete the patch files you extracted from archive in the previous step from the game folder.

 

And if this doesn't solve your issue, I do hope someone else can make it work.

Actually i have download your Ragexe.exe, but there are some popup window problem as you seen in my older post.

That file was specifically meant for the other player in question. Since it was a Ragexe error they had, I figured giving them the file itself would solve the issue. In your case, with the achievement system error, the force re-patch wouldn't fix it. This is because the earliest file with the updated achievement list dates to 14th September. Whereas the force re-patch only downloads files for the 21st.

Reinstall using all the solution 3 times more, restart, shutdown, cooldown my laptop.

Finally i can play iRO normally like usual.

login still under 1500 people online on Chaos....

 

Thank God for this thread!  So im not the only one that keep getting disconnected during character selection? nice way to spend my day off

 

 

back to trouble shooting them.. will try the suggestion in this thread...

1. Un-install the game. Reboot PC. x 2 time = Same issues disconnected after select character (file were download using WIFI)

 

2. Un-install the game. Reboot PC .  (Used the LAN cable to download everything this time  )

 

2.1. Now able to login and play normally .

 

 

Even have a laugh when checking my Wiz Account.
