Thanksgiving Event 2017

Thanksgiving is near and it’s time to get yourself some chic clothing and prepare some food.

Kill monsters to have a chance to get a Thanksgiving Food Box dropped.
This year it contains not just food but also the chance to drop a Thanksgiving Surprise Box which contains a lot useful  stuff. It can be opened by using a Tur-Key which can be obtained from the the Food Box as well if you are lucky.

 

Thanksgiving Food Box
This box randomly gives you one of the following:

4x Banana
4x Milk
3x Grapes
3x Lollipop
2x Breadroll
2x Parfait
2x Slice of Cake
2x Yogurt
3x Thanksgiving Surprise Box
1x Tur-Key

 

Thanksgiving Surprise Box
This box randomly gives you one of the following:

1 of 5 parts of the Chic Modern Set
1 of 5 parts of the Traditional Outdoor Set
1 of 5 parts of the Serious Business Set
Mushroom Balloon
Red Apple Balloon
Turkey Balloon

200x Soul
200x Armor Enchant Dust
200x Weapon Enchant Dust
10x Slice of Cake
10x Yogurt
5x Watermelon Slice

Tur-Key
The Tur-Key is needed to open the Thanksgiving Surprise Boxes. It can be obtained either from the Thanksgiving Food Boxes, Thanksgiving Surprise Boxes or it can be obtained by exchanging

2x Banana
2x Grape
1x Breadroll
1x Slice of Cake

for 1 Tur-Key at the Vending Machine.

 

The event starts on November, 15th at 12:00 Server Time and ends on November, 29th at 12:00 Server Time. After the event has ended no Tur-Keys can be exchanged at the Vending Machine anymore.

 

 

Friend Points at max Character Level
Friend Points can now be exchanged when the character is at max level. However only as much friend points as needed to get the ExCo and reset the EXP bar are exchanged. Remaining Friend Points are kept and can be exchanged again.
Friend Points can be now gathered when playing at max level as well.

 

Fixes and Changes
- the Fantasy Fox Set and the Purple Wizard Set now have the correct stats again

I see multiple typos on the patch notes.

The event itself is great, making every monster worth killing during the event period.

Friend points has been something I was looking for since I reached level 85, and could've gave me a head start if this was patched long ago, before the ExCo was implemented. But I have no regrets, I am only more motivated to play the game !

Boss Monster Harkon (Snowy Mountain Mission Map F1 and F2) has a chance to drop Harkon's Glove of Chaos

This items comes with one of four different stats:

 

- Health +50 / Fire/Ice/Nature/Dark Defense Rate +1
- Agility +60 / Fire/Ice/Nature/Dark Defense Rate +1
- Strength +50 / Fire/Ice/Nature/Dark Defense Rate +1
- Intelligence +40 / Fire/Ice/Nature/Dark Defense Rate +1

The item is soul bound after equipping and requires a character being lv.75+

5% ele def sounds quite low. How about 10%? Otherwise the Alex glove is still more preferable because of the chance to evade ice freeze.

Not that Harkon which is a sandworm would need ice freeze evade. Harkon lives in a dune. (does anyone understand this reference btw? Harkon - Dune - Spice)

Can't get on. I get a pink box screen and character choice screen shows no characters but a pink ghost character. Picking one of the spots gets me in game but automatically says server is not responding.

This is a patcher error. I am currently uploading the most current pre-patched version. You might download it from here:

When it's done uploading I update the version number in the first line of the first post.

 

Make sure you have enough free HD space when patching, usually such file corruption happens if not enough HD space is available. Also it can happen if the internet connection interrupts while patching.

5% is low? Well, stick to your 0% gloves then. We won't mind. After all, Ice Freeze Evade Rate is too appealing and Element Defense is just not competitive enough when compared against that, right?

Tell me why 5% is not low.

It reduces max. 30 ele dmg if the person uses all ele atk. Otherwise it would only reduce 10-20 ele dmg

And that's what I was saying I would do does it seem like I need you to tell me if I should stick with my gloves or not? I don't think so.

Can't I give feedback or opinions about the changes? Did I say I wouldn't stick with my gloves and jump to the new gloves right away? And don't use the word "we" if you only express your own opinion.

I love the event, already got alot good items from it and like 3 pet name changer :>
But just one question, is it intended that the Harkon Glove's have such a high droprate?
Made around 100~ rounds and got 14 gloves, that means i got 1 glove in less then 10 runs, Alex gloves took like ages to get gloves and market price is already really low for the gloves that show how easy they are actually to get. Im not complaining i dont wear the gloves anyways for my class, but i was just really surprised as i saw how fast you can actually get them. Anyways i like the idea of the gloves and im pretty sure that more all ele resis parts are coming in the future.

Just wanted to let you guys know that the chic modern hair for drakan needs a bit of adjusting. i think pushed a bit forward.
