*Silvervine System

What is the silvervine system?

• The silvervine system is a way for players to gain access to item mall items and unique quest items through in game play or trade with other players.

How do I earn silvervine?

• The silvervine cats will offer a serious of tasks that can be completed for a silvervine. In V2 Silvervine can also be purchased with zeny (limitations apply).
• Silvervine Boxes can be purchased from other players that have purchased them in the item mall.

Wait what were those limitations?

• Characters will be limited to the amount of silvervine that can be earn during the month. Currently the plan is that each character can earn about 100 silvervine per month. Silvervine will be account bound so characters on accounts can pool their silvervine earnings. We will be evaluating how silvervine is earned and used to see if we need to change the system.

What can I use the silvervine for?

• Enriched/HD Ore and almost everything that is currently in the item mall.

What will you change in the future?

• Silvervine will be used to complete headgear event quests and some interesting cosmetic option quests we have planned for the future the future.

Aren't you worried about bots?

• We will be monitoring the bot situation for silvervine and adjust the system as needed to meet the needs of the server.

This all looks good to me. A lot of people seemed a bit bothered by the potion effectiveness increase, but I don't see a problem with players being able to pay for heavier slims and blues at least for woe. Blue potion weight decrease has been needed for a very long time, thank you. Also, how did nobody notice how absurdly high the healing of the woe pots was in the first place? Finally becoming more expensive than regular whites.

 

Couple things still need to be addressed though.

-portal casting

-^zeny sinks? I think that's a good idea.

 

Btw, can unanimous community decisions not be ignored?

Can something be added to the server to create potions in bulk on Alchemist? Potting 1 at a time is ridiculously time consuming and basically asking people to macro/bot it if they want to be ranked.

 

I remember before the server came out there was a question about this and a GM responded saying it was a possibility.

I know it exists lol, but it should be added before those classes come out is what I'm saying. Wasn't it added early on iRO Classic, or am I remembering incorrectly?

They added expanded classes before trans classes in Classic, which was sort of nice to have them be played before being fully outclassed but also sort of "lmao I'm a soul linker solo breaking an emp against a full 56 player guild ezpz".

10/10 on the blue potion weight. But I have to ask, aren't woe pots back to what they used to be (ranked) already? Or is that just to make it more obvious for those who didn't see the other topic?

 

Also please work on a zeny sink or assign more power to combat the bots, because the economy is out of control...

No it wasn't. We got soul linkers during pretrans (which was a huge mistake imo) and some tokens and stuff later on to make buying npc whites easier.
