I disconnected from the internet while playing, when i got it back and opened ragnarok client it started downloading patches from the year 2011!
Why is it doing that? should i let it keep doing that? It has downloaded 2011 patches for at least 10 minutes now. Will it keep going towards 2017?
Im so confused.

Hi. i followed these steps and replaced all files. That made Norton go nuts and flagged every file as dangerous and deleted them.
Do i have to download and reinstall everything from scratch then?
had to uninstall and reinstall everything to make it work. its o.k now

Usually that can be fixed by adding Ragnarok executable files to the whitlelist of the application (Norton), if a new exe is released in future it MAY flag it as malicious so it is best to whitelist the files before then.
Either way, glad you were able to fix the issue
