If the game was super balanced and worked perfectly in every way, I would have probably ditched it out of boredom years ago -- as I imagine many would have. I personally find it somewhat exciting that there are still _new_ things to discover in this ancient game, even if they are potentially server destabilizing (like the def pierce bug).

I asked my friend to do some testing to clarify your confusion.

 

 

 

cart cannon damage to Mysteltainn = 15302

 

cart cannon formula

 

((( cart remodeling skill level x 50 ) x ( Int / 40 )) + ( cart cannon skill level x 60 )) % Atk

 

So with cart remodeling lv.5, cart cannon lv.5 and 112 int.

 

(((5 x 50) x (112/40)) + (5 x 60)) %

((250 x 2.8) + 300) %

(700 + 300) %

1000% Atk

 

Atk part

StatusAtk : 196 x 2 = 392

EquipAtk : 50 (from shackles set) + 120 (from holy ball itself) = 170

MasteryAtk : 50 (from cart boost)

 

EquipAtk is endowed to holy (first endowment). so dmg against shadow lv.4 is 200%

= 170 x 200% = 340

 

TotalAtk

= 392 + 340 + 50 = 782

 

Cart Cannon dmg

= 782 x 1000% = 7820

 

Mysteltainn has 96 SoftDef and 73 HardDef, both are subtracted directly from CC dmg.

 

= 7820 - 96 - 73 = 7651

 

Total dmg is endowed to holy (second endowment). so dmg against shadow lv.4 is 200%

= 7651 x 200% = 15302.

Yes. The difference is AC doesn't have 'first endowment'.
So cannonball element doesn't affect WeaponAtk+EquipAtk before calculate skill dmg.
Since there is no cannonball element endowed. WeaponAtk+EquipAtk can be endowed by either converters or weapon element.
When WeaponAtk+EquipAtk are endowed. It will work similar to CC.

poor mechas really, fixed cast+skilldelay compared to CC's vcast and spam abilities.

With enough aftercast delay, AC > CC easily since you can spam it.

 

edit: though you still gotta deal with lame AOE and fuel consumption =(
