But it's supposed to be strong because it's an expensive skill to use right? So you're not supposed to spam them?

 

you got to think back from early renewal and even before renewal. Everyone hits like 5k, 15k dmg etc. Classes that deal 50k were OMG OP already. Then at the side you see those genes throwing acid bomb at orc lords for 350k-500k damage at that time. No one complained despite it being unbalanced as all hell at that point because the game was still well and alive as a PVP/WOE game, and acid bomb can be countered by GR and DR at those stages (which was why they were so fking expensive too that time, its all to deal with suras and genes). With the focus shifted to PVM later on as the population starts to dwindle and hardcore pvp players moving to moba, it's pretty darn obvious acid bomb is beyond rigged as second class skill. 

 

Too late for any sort of balance now, plus i tihnk nobody wants it since most also already adapted to have a gene to steamroll pvm, so nerfing will result in a lot of complains. I'm just more eye-ing at ragnarok zero. If later on they came out with the same acid bomb when trans class come, i know the server is f@rked again.

with Abyss Dress,

the nerfed part in 16.2 will be like that , the 2nd picture 260kish  if you are using Holy, Shadow, Ghost ball

and the normal CC with converters will not work anymore, so it will be like the 1st picture,  forced to Neutral.

 

btw i maybe the one who believe Sapphire Wrist is a kinda low tier item for gene,

so i dont recommend to use that. i didnt get the hype from the beginning  :heh:

 

last two is holy/neutral with holy cannonball... So no difference right now right?

 

Neutral with holy cannonballs is 490k, holy weapon with holy cannonballs 461k.

 

Your test is same with mine. So where is the double damage from holy x holy?

The 261k is because its weapon endow holy and iron cannonball. So pseudo elemental. ATK gets elemental modifier while balls doesnt.

 

As for the 461k/490k+, we can see its from the Ball modifier (holy), the holy weapon and neutral doesnt add any damage at all. 

 

For the one in bold. Do you mean that if I use Holy cannonBalls and I use any converter, it will be Force Neutral? It neither follows the weapon nor the ball element?  :hmm:

​the pathetic 5% increase Overbrand damage in the Old Casket. while CRS, an already strong skill then, got 20%

​plus the OB nerf in the 1st balance patch.

 

now you see 2 OCP items and 1 card boosting OB damage.

​I swear kRO devs are f weird.

Holy x Holy is mech, as for gene it is Eatk and Watk endowed 2 times.

 

so wearing holy x holy, wont affect the damage but for the formula itself already calculated 2 times

and thats where the nerf comes.

 

Mech will be nerfed as well

If you use holy, shadow and soul ball. Either converters or weapon element mean nothing. Ball element 'always' overrides it. So it will be holy x holy, shadow x shadow and soul x soul anyway.

We are getting somewhere.

 

So it is like.

 

1. Using converters

EATK and WATK is endowed once.

 

2. Using Elemental Balls

EATK and WATK is endowed twice follow the ball's element. Using Holy weapon doesnt effect since its already included with the balls.

 

The nerf will make EATK and WATK only endow once following the ball.

 

So they are fixing the endowed twice (ball's element?)

 

Is this what you are trying to say?

 

PS: Read sigma's explanation. So its like if you use elemental balls, its automatically endow twice holy x holy. But for Mecha's arm cannon you have to manually endow your weapon and then equip elemental ball for the holy x holy.

 

:wah:  Why do they have to make it double endow in the first place. Such nerf much wow.

CRS is a single target though. OB is an AoE.

And GX shrines more in PvMbut whatever build or gears they have, they will never be able to fight RGs in WoE or PvP 1-1.

Different classes, impossible to balance too due to different perspectives.

ahaha all of these are confusing me

 

but as far as i can conceive

 

current mechanics:

 

CC: neutral/holy weapon + holy balls  =  neutral/holy weapon + holy balls + aspersio (no increase with aspersio)

AC: neutra weapon + holy balls  <  holy weapon(or aspersio) + holy balls (increased with aspersio/holy weapon)

 

so clearly double element with AC but not with CC

 

well that's just me and my simple take on this from my personal tests before

Luminous Blue Stone, since it requires Sharp1 with Sharp2 and our enchant system is
not updated yet. you have to depend on subpar equipment for the combo. 
using those you lose potential damage from other equips.

There's Assassin's Despair[1] which is pretty much trash
could have slightly been better if  Assassin's Mask  was implemented
instead, keraunos[1] became the recommended accessory for GX

follow by Enforcer Cape[1] which took a long time to fix.
however, IRO version is without Soul Breaker & Cross Impact Boost

Lastly, Enforcer Shoe, def ignore nerf 100% -> 20%,
didn't expect that there's a 0.3sec FCT on MA

even when DA Crit arrive,
Given how Enforcer Shoe been nerfed, I suppose it'll be similar for Squriel Ear Hood [1] in the future

Lets just say Enforcer Cape got nerfed instead of bug.

the only nerfed equipment i see is the enforcer shoes. the others are bugs or even features!  :heh:

while RG does have the upper hand in pvp and woe perspective to GX,

the way kRO treats OB doesn't make sense to me.

​it's like they don't know what to do with this skill.


On a side note, I wonder if iRO will ever fix Vanishing Point's delay.

​jRO & twRO do 7 hits per second.

​kRO does 5.

 

iRO does    2-3 per second
                   Bathory trans: 5 per second.

Actually since they introduce the cap. Wouldn't it be okay to return Enforcer shoes back to 100%, since perverse mask is here anyway  :rice:

that feature is about arm cannon, cc has different issues, i think it got a change in the ammunition interaction on the formula.

i wish they keep it for arm cannon cause lots of peeps will cry, but kRO is the main deciding factor on this one maybe

It's not a decision that I can make, however, will forward this concern to the staff.

For now, disregarding the temporary lock down on the DEF piercing script, treat the current effect of said item on iRO as intended.

I never bothered looking for better options and it seems most of them are too expensive right now so... What would you say its better than it?

Less confusion its gonna be like this. If you see the SS above:

 

1.72k was done with neutral weapon and iron cannoballs

2. 221k was done with neutral/holy weapon and holy cannonballs.

 

Undead multiplier is 200% on Wraith so using simple calculation it should be 144k (72k x 2). But the actual damage is 221k or with 3x multiplier. (This is what they meant by 2x endow), hence the auto 'holy x holy' endow. <- Got me so confuse for the past 2 pages.

 

3. Arm cannon on the other hand doesn't have the auto double endow. You need to manually endow the weapon AND use elemental cannonballs for the extra multiplier.

 

The new update gonna make CC only 'endowable' once. So expect to see 1/2 your current CC damage when using holy, dark or ghost cannonballs.
