Hell you would have better results by implementing/increasing a zeny fee on Merry Badger, VIP tokens, entering turn ins, inn usage, teleport services, refinement costs, entering nightmare dungeons, and the like in comparison to Paramarket.

 

This will work ^ 

 

I just wanna ask those who wants paramarket to sells stuffs.

 

How confident are you in your handspeed that you can get the items from bots the moment the quantity is refreshed?

 

Even if you ban the bot that is being repetitively camping, it doens't take a long time for them to set up a new bot. And neither does it cause them more resources to leave it there to camp 24/7.

 

In the end you are giving your zeny to the bots and the bots to the system, while the bots gets more zeny cause they will re-sell it higher than paramarket.

 

Plus paramarket has a fix quantity to be sold over a timer, so the zeny sink (Assuming all the hot potatoes are being bought), the amount still won't be comparable to WoE Investment when it was popular.

 

Paramarket help bots earn more while giving a slight effect to inflation. 

 

The cons right now just outweight the benefit it brings at the moment.

there are thousands and one reason to buy from para-market and not from bots.

Update WoE investment.

Add zeny sinks to Merry Badger.

Add zeny sinks to all methods of enchanting, offer a special service that makes it too much to pass. You could give predictive enchanting, so it eats your enchanting materials, and for a zeny fee, will show you what enchant it would apply (subject to chance to fail or break if it is already a thing). People would kill for something like this on ALL forms of enchanting. Could throw down 50m per attempt on Bio5, 25m per attempt on Seagod, 20m per attempt on Bio3/4, 10m per attempt on Mora, HTF and other systems.

Let's say paramarket sells only consumables obtained from high lv instances (for example: gigantes shards, bio 5 fragments, etc), but with their price being adjusted weekly (or daily) to keep them well above the market buying rate (those that are supplied to the market by players).

If buying bots buy them, and try to resell at higher price:
a. Server still get the zeny sink
b. Legit farmers won't suffer any loss (of course, this is provided WP can be consistent in adjusting the paramarket price).
c. Buying bots would have to sell at a higher price.

Making the items account bound is pretty good too..

(Although I can't see the point in paramarket if they put it at higher price)

Otherwise, already suggested many times and I dont think this is a bad idea, put MvPs in auction house. If MvP cards are a taboo? Good, then put high-end gears which might be even more powerful than MvPs if this will make you sleep better instead then. People need good incentives to burn zeny. 500m/ticket if it is a raffle.

Okay account bound it is. People can still manipulate by lower cost of enchanting , opening OCA/MCAs or whatever but at least that stops direct reselling.

 

Anyway I'm all for para-market for the sake of updates. But if the reason to introduce paramarket is to curb inflation and bot (bot price vs npc price), I think you guys have need to put in more thought to it.

 

With that said, any zeny sink is still better than no zeny sink.

TBH, im not fully supportive of this.
at the end of the day, bots will benefit so much more from this as compared to a normal player.
the more you invest, the faster you do. the higher your profit. 
( at least that's for thor, you get close to 2x your capital from doing WoE investment )
- if you are a newbie in Thor, you needed some capital to roll some zeny, you can look for me to loan some zeny, you speak to me in any other language other then english, i'll say goodbye to you.

Buy exp/drop mod with zeny. Announce an scheduled event, put up a banking npc for n duration before the event. If it reached its quota, give EMBs to all participants depending on the amount given. If it does not reach its quota, give back compensation rewards to those who participated.

 

Same goes with these seasonal Upgrading/Event. Apply the same mechanics, zeny first before the event.

I'm curious about this Para market, is it like ragial who base the prices at vendors? if so, if a lot of player vends Cursed Fragment at 20m per piece. Will Para Market Adjust near to the vendors price?

Paramarket would have a set price. It was made to help servers with low pop, it might be good for Thor, it still sucks for Chaos; it was made for 100 pop servers :U

I might be flame for this but why not have an NPC that sells EMB  . 

 

The cons of course will be:

1. Devalue or put faceworm skins on par with the npc rates.

2. No one would buy Gums/BMX from CS as long as it remains more expensive than npc rates.

 

It will never happen but hey... I think EMBs are hot potatoes right now.

The point of a sink is to make zeny more valuable, therefore, dropping the WPE pricing as a roll on effect.

OCP's are gacha boxes and a huge real money sink (not sure with its effects with actual real world inflation)

Investment System are gacha, somehow.
Bring back/revamp investment system for a nice zeny sink.
