How hard is it to refine brave items above +15? If I fail from going to +16 to which refine will my item downgrade? Is it worth refining your items to +20 or can we settle for +15? Does it make much difference on your def and dodge?

Don't bother refining to 20 it will cost you 8k IM points for only 2 pieces. The GMs have obviously done something with refining. It's so hard to refine to 20 and theres only a slight difference in dodge and defense. So don't bother. It wasn't that hard before they just wanna make money.

It cost you under 2k IM for 4 pieces if the one you are upgrading is brave set cause it can not degrade with pluto/neptu. Even spamming with lisent U + venu is possible to +20.

I was talking about honor gears and yes it took me 8k IM points to refine 2 pieces to +20.

Neptu\Pluto will protect 1 refine degration, which means it will not degrade until +15, once you try +16 you risk degradation regardless if you're using Neptu\Plutorunes. Trying for +19\20 is going to degrade the refine by 2 upon failure, +16-18 refines degrade by one only if you're using a Neptu\Plutorune.

I want to clarify something, what does it means with brave in the refine table?

 

Afaik, valor has two versions, brave and courage. So why there is brave in the table.

 

I always assume brave include brave armor and weapon.

It's an archaic armor type from when clan wars were a game mode. They were removed along with the  clan war shop 7 years ago or more. The current Brave armor falls under the valor tab.

Remember when having a brave lvl 160 armor was max andifyiu red it to 7,was crazy.i once saw a +9 (max ref years agow) and that was craaazyy
