Another one (DJ Khaled)...

Patched Ro way after manteinance was over, because usually something goes south and it isnt just worth it to risk issues with the game when our server hamsters are at work. They are not very predictable on their wheels.

Patched the game 1-2 times to make sure I got all the packages. Again weekend routine, know WP, try to compensate for any possible hiccup and whatnots.

Logged in game and Recovery rings are missing sprites (other people are reporting more items, sheepy hat, etc), if I click, game goes kaboom, windows desktop is my next destination.

Sooo... what to do? My game is no longer patching and I have very little willingnes to patch from 2011, understanding this is coming as a gift from manteinance.

 

Dear VMods, Staff, please advice and feel free to release one of those hamsters into an eagle´s nest.

try to post the image but can't do it, maybe because my post in this forums too epic. So, please fix this bugs, it is very annoying (I can't switch my accessories, when I try to unequipped the recovery rings, error popped out).

The 2 reports of the missing sprite are merged into one.

Can you please close the active RO clients then launch the patcher? I assume the staff should have released a fix file by now.

seem me too, my recovery ring till now still missing sprite, when i try click it it lead to program crash =.="

Hm, I see what happened.

The sprite files exist on the client but they are not being linked correctly. Supposedly last week and before it had a normal ring sprite, at least from the files I am looking at.

 

Let's try a repatch, please follow the steps below.

 

1. Restart your device.
2. Clear Internet Explorer cache, if you don't know how please check Appendix #2 in this post.
3. Make sure Ragnarok Online.exe and Ragexe.exe are set to run as an admin all the time, if using dedicated antimalware/antivirus programs make sure the same are white-listed from the active scans.
4. Download patch.inf from this link, make sure to read the instructions carefully.

already try it but nothing change???? still same sprite missing n can'T be used T.T

Temporary fix (removes the superfluous space from the resource name):

1. go to (ragnarok folder)\System
2. rename iteminfo.lub to iteminfo2.lub
3. create a text file named iteminfo.lub with the following contents:

dofile("system/iteminfo2.lub")
tbl[2936].identifiedResourceName = "\200\184\186\185\192\199\185\221\193\246"
