and only gives 50 "chunks" of job exp, wich is what is needed for a base 2nd job, but not for trans ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Since it's the last step of the quest it should have a pretty easy fix, of just giving more exp chunks, exceeding exp would go to waste regardless.(just lock the npc after you change to 3rd job, or it is already idk)

So someone once told me that in order to safely transact with another player if you want to buy a really expensive item, one tip is to lookout for whether they use a novice/1st class char or a 3rd class char. 3rd class would imply they've bothered to grind and spend more time on the game, hence not a scammer, more trustworthy etcetc. I know this isnt the ONLY indicator as to whether one is a scammer or not but it does make sense to me.

 

Would jumping jane help scammers get more 3rd class chars then? Hence would this make it easier for them to scam people?

I'm having an issue with Jumping Janeway. I did the quest she asks me to and when i return to claim the reward, she gives me nothing and sends me to the next quest map.The quest is complete in my quest window.

Sakray card will be one problem since it requires player to bear 10k gray shards to exchange it. Who on earth can bear 10k weight unless you must reduce the weight of gray shard to 0.1 like KRO.

A little more than 21% increase after Abyss Dress. So, still good to use for DD crit.

This and, i've also read on other different threads where people mention that jumping janeway is mainly an event for veterans to create dozens upon dozens of characters for botting. 

And somehow I do find that to be true because ive found quite a few 3rd class (rangers, shadow chasers, guillotine cross) botters all around prontera, geffen, and payon maps farming the essentials. straws, stems, poison spores, horns, rainbow shells, etc. practically every single item that people are buying from ragial market.

Anyways, if i were making a trade with someone and see that theyre 3rd class level 100 i would be skeptical about making a trading transaction with them, like you said. Maybe some people can create a lot of 3rd classes easily now to scam people in eden, and it wouldnt hurt them to lose that character/account because they used jumping janeaway "easy leveling" to get to 3rd class. And they dont just create 1 or 2 accounts. They probably make a dozen or more realistically speaking. 

Personally I would make sure they are at least Lv150  if they are 3rd class. How you mentioned in your post that would show or "imply they've bothered to grind and spend more time on the game."
