Look like they will transfer data to the new server like what they do in IDRO. This way is easier than upgrading current server.

In any case it seems like Zero is arriving to keep people's RO addiction in check until they bring the servers back up with the updated kRO build. I was wrong in assuming they would be merging it with Zero. The original statement does not speak of a merger.

 

 

Nov 12th: We will be announcing registration for a new game service. Please keep a close eye on our site for more detail coming soon.

Dec 6th: iRO Chaos and Thor suspend service.

Starting in Early December we will be hosting closed and open beta tests of the new game service. In addition, we are planning on a stress test to test the limits of the server.

Feb 3rd: iRO Chaos and Thor reopen for normal play with the new updates.

This is kinda weird. Why do we have to register if our vip subscription will be paused anyways. What will happen to our old accounts?

Nothing will happen to the accounts from what I can tell. The registration is to try out their new game service. This is probably to keep RO pangs at bay. 2 months is still a long time to stay away from the game and chances are, few will decide to leave if there was no other avenue of gaming. The new service will keep their minds occupied so that when the original server comes back up, they can continue from where they left.

The new service won't be there to hold players over the downtime, the main servers going down for 3 months is so they don't compete for players with the new service. I even expected them to be closing the old servers for good when I saw the announcement.

easy anti cheat or something, as far as I know this doesn't do anything for robot attack.

It's not stopping them, but if this means botters will stop sharing bots for free then why not? Problem as today is you can just learn bots from google. There are 2 types of botters : those who can program it and use it sparingly or those who just leech and abuse it using 20+ dummy accounts... We need to stop the latter type for very least.

Merge Chaos and Thor as well. I'm just  suggesting because WoE 1 and 2 in Chaos is dead and I know you can see that every WoE. So if Chaos and Thor will merge "maybe" more players will comeback to play.

You can learn how to *Kitten* from *Puppy* or *Otter*. Everything explained well there. If you want to stop *Kitten* ,you should shut down the sources.

Anti Cheat program is so sensitive please think ten times before you put something like that, i played Ragnarok PH and it always think my IRO folder is a cheat program you cant play ROPH if you dont uninstall IRO,Steam,Epic and Uplay that's why i dont play ROPH anymore, please think before you do something that will destroy the game even the admin of ROPH dont know how to fix it legally.

im worried about the specs usage , many players complaining they cant dual log in cuz of cpu usage is very high while on other online games dont have eac less usage even in high end pc...

Seriesly , I like the way and will be support the way WP make IRO better by temporary suspend the server , finally I can feel WP is being series to make IRO great again

Btw , this is my suggestion during the break time (Dec19~Feb20) ,

With the new game laught during the break time , hopefully WP wont bring in any cash item/OCP during it , and also setting a leveling challenge to get max level 175 (or maybe 185) , whoever fulfilled will be given out some WPE as reward to player

Without cash item/OCP , everyone start from zero , player cant solo lvling easily , make the game great again
