I think you should just add another NPC beside the 'Weapon Dealers' as an 'Arrow Dealer', just selling the same arrows as the weapon dealer.

 

Your work around on the equipment shops was to put, make NPC Equipment vendors act like merchant vending, thus putting limit on the items to make them only 10z, but it affected the arrows that are sold by the weapon dealers.

 

Even though you replenish the NPC stock to 999999 every maintenance. it is still not enough to last for the whole week because more people will use more arrows in the long term.

 

By the time I am writing this. The current stock in the Prontera weapon dealer for silver arrows is 0! Only 4 days in after the maintenance.

 

Adding 1 NPC selling a normal Arrow and Silver Arrow shouldn't be that hard.

It is the weapon dealer in prontera. It is only selling normal arrows now.

 

It should also sell Silver arrows

Why not buy from Tool dealers instead?
They have infinite supply and are even more accessible/easier to find than weapon dealers.

Also, the real reason why some arrows drop in stock so much is because merchants buy them by the boatload to resell at fields/dungeons lol
Most of those arrows are just sitting in their carts because they're overpriced as hecc.

Oh wow. that means there is a bug. I was able to buy arrows 2 days ago with my merchant from the same npc.

 

I just checked with a different character and there it is. 

 

It bugs for merchants I guess. I always buy npc items with my merch.

[Confirmed] First recorded case of a person getting ghosted by a bunch of arrows


Looks like it's a visual bug then?
I think the only factor that differentiates merchants from other classes that affects purchases are the discount & overcharge skills..?
So maybe if you check with a fresh merchant without any skills it might show up..?

Unless there's a limit per character, anyone with a merchant class test if you are able please.

I just tested it.

 

I think it bugs with level 10 Discount skill.

 

I have another merchant with level 10 discount and another with level 3.

It doesn't show up for my blacksmith either:

He has lvl 10 discount!

Guessing by how this is going, it also might not show for a Rogue with high enough Haggle.

It has been confirmed the item does not show up to characters with discount level 10.

I will mark this for investigation.
