Introduction

 

This is a guide to end game MVP hunting using Focused Arrow Strike. This build requires no mvps, but with the use of a Kiel D-01 card can increase you hits per second by one.

Old Camouflage Bunny Hood [1]
Suggested Cards: Kiel D-01 (for an additional hit per second)
Upgrade: +0 or higher
When combined with the Old Detachments Ring, provides 70% critical damage and critical chance. If you wish to deal one or two more additional hits per second, you must enchant it with Magic Essence Level 5.
 
Gambler’s Seal+Heart Card in Mouth
Provides a little EATK; as well as, a lot of critical damage and critical chance.
 
Weapon
 

Crimson Bow [2]
Suggested Cards: Abysmal Knight
Upgrade: +15 or higher
Best all around bow for all apart from demi-human targets. As this build has very little Atk%, Abysmal Knight is not only the cheaper alternative, but the stronger one as well.
 
Glorious Hunter Bow
Upgrade: +14 or higher
Best bow for demi-human targets.
 
Body
 

White Wing Suit [1]
Suggested Cards: Amdarais, Angry Nine Tail, Gloom Under Night, Ktullanux or Restless Dead for damage; and, any elemental card for defensive encounters.
Upgrade: +0 or higher
This armor is a must have for this variety of build. It combos with Gray Wing Boots to deal Focused Arrow Strike damage; as well as, provide other synchronising benefits.
*If you use an Amdarais in this armor, it will nullify the small loss when not using a dress on a well suited targets (like using an Icefall Dress on Ifrit).
 
Robe
 

Prism Rangers Scarf
Upgrade: +7
This reduces the cool down of No Limits by 3 minutes, leaving you with only 1 minute of cool down to deal with between bursts. You also get 20% ranged damage due to the skill build, 10% delay reduction; and, can use elemental arrows to provide huge resistance to specific elements when necessary.
 
Shoes
 

Gray Wing Boots
Upgrade: +7
A crux for this Focused Arrow Strike build. It provides 34% critical damage, 10% ranged damage, 75% skill damage and a Moonlight Flower effect.
 
Accessory
 

Old Detachments Ring
A must have item for this build. The combo effect with the Old Camouflage Bunny Hood is very strong.
 
Perverse Demon Mask [1]
Suggested Cards: Gold Scaraba
Another must have item for this build. Basically a poor mans substitute for a Memory of Thanatos card; it only under-performs by comparison if the target has more than 400 hard defense.

 

Combat Results

I will use Neutral Egg from Izlude Academy and High Priest Margaretha as target examples. I will use the bare minimum recommendations listed above, and only slot weapons and accessories with cards. I will also use Siroma Icetea, VIP and Donut for buffs. The ammunition used will be an Arrow.
 
You have two options to go for here, you can either invest into a Magic Essence Level 5 enchant for an additional hit per second; or, you can opt to use a Spellflow Shadow Set to prevent cast interruption. By slotting a Kiel D-01 card in your Old Camouflage Bunny Hood, you can deal an additional hit per second as well assuming you have Magic Essence Level 5. Remember to multiply the suggested damage figures below by the number of hits you can deal.
 
When using a Crimson Bow, I deal 272,274 to Neutral Egg.
When using a Glorious Hunter Bow, 213,382 to Neutral Egg.
 
When using a Crimson Bow, I deal 271,891 to High Priest Margaretha.
When using a Glorious Hunter Bow, I deal 387,466 to High Priest Margaretha.
 
I will now introduce layers of multipliers to improve the damage significantly. I will focus on the Crimson Bow.
 
1. Changing our attacking element from Neutral to Shadow, I deal 450,875 to High Priest Margaretha.
2. Using the No Limits skill, I deal 1,665,840 to High Priest Margaretha.
3. Use the Shield Spell buff for 150 EATK, I deal 1,933,563 to High Priest Margaretha.
4. Upgrade White Wing Suit and Old Camouflage Bunny Hood to +10, I deal 2,054,459 to High Priest Margaretha.
5. Use an Amdarais card to overcome the deficit of an optimal dress scenario, I deal 2,223,813 to High Priest Margaretha.

Now, I will briefly show a comparison on a couple of other setups proposed. These will be adjusted to the 5th Scenario.
 
White Wing Suit & Gray Wing Boots
This build deals 2,223,813 to High Priest Margaretha and can deal 2 hits per second for a total of 4,447,626 dps. A Kiel D-01 card can deal 3 hits per second for a total of 6,671,439 dps.

 

Sniping Suit & Temporal Dex Boots & Acute 5
This build deals 1,300,618 to High Priest Margaretha and can deal 3 hits per second for a total of 3,901,854 dps.

 

Sniping Suit & Temporal Dex Boots & Temporal Ring & Acute 5
This build deals ‭1,060,663‬ to High Priest Margaretha and can deal 4 hits per second for a total of ‭4,242,652‬ dps. It has the potential to hit five hits per second assuming the user has 193 Aspd and a good connection for a total of 5,303,315 dps.

Current one? No not AS good, but fairly good. However that video is an older version, the latest kRO FAS builds are way better.

Yeah, it's pretty crazy, a few of us are waiting for some of those items in order to achieve that level of consistency.

Sharp star + Cecil's memory combo is quite potent, and ofc the costume enchants for FCT.

I think the sharp star combo is still stronger, but it is appealing to see a strong multipurpose bow -- and I have no clue what the enchant situation is on the patent weapons. 

 

At +12:

 

Sharp Star with Cecil's Memory is 7% Ranged, 32% crit, and 38% FAS.

 

Patent Royal Bow is 90 ATK, 12% Ranged, 10% Crit, 20% FAS, and 10% Aftercast delay.

 

With a base atk value difference of 55 favoring the Patent bow, it seems like the two may be close. The Sharp Star will definitely win out at +15, but I'm not the kind of person who is willing to +15 a level 4 weapon so I'm just keeping it realistic to myself. With the big crit and ranged mods already, and with a non-insignificant amount of FAS mods now, I think for my situation the Patent bow would be better. 

 

The Royal Bow is also good with AS and can be used by SC, which to me is very appealing since I'd like to use my SC as well but all of the SC specific bows are just +50% to Triangle Shot since kRO has no clue how to design weapons for SC, apparently. 

 

Though who the hell knows when we'll ever see any of this stuff or how feasible they are to get/upgrade etc. 

 

There's also the 'booster' weapons, but I don't quite understand their refine process so no comment on that.

There are also a few other pieces of equipment too, but yeah, I would use a Sharp Star personally.

Wouldnt a gigantic bow be good for the +40% ranged modifier and high attack coupled with the high crit mod since your ranged mod is not as high?

Yeah I'd much rather have spellflow set than make a magic essence headgear but hate the cast time on FAS without the -.5fct.. we will never get those garment stones that reduce fct lmao.

The damage test is counting the base level modifier that's currently missing or using the current sakray version that doesn't have it?

Different weapon tho which will minimize your burst damage potential with FAS in exchange for prolonged higher damage.

 

Just depends on what you want to do (and what gear we actually get and at what time).

Doesn't even need to do MA like damage we just need more after cast delay reduction gears to make it spammable like in KRO
