Base Model: Costume Lightning Speed

 

A head crest of a knight that has mastered the art of weapon vibrations. Wearing this crest empowers you with the same destructive skill.

 
Class: Headgear
Position: Upper
Defense: 25
Weight: 100
Requires Level: 100
Usable By: Rune Knight

Atk + 10%
Reduces the cool down of Sonic Wave by 2 seconds.
Increases the damage of Sonic Wave by 50%.

If upgrade level is +7 or higher,
Additional Atk + 15%

Increases the damage of Sonic Wave by an additional 50%.

If upgrade level is +9 or higher,
Reduces after cast delay by 30%, if Clashing Spiral is at maximum level.
Increases the damage of Sonic Wave by an additional 100%.

Increases physical damage on boss monsters by 50%, if Wind Cutter is at maximum level.
Bypass 100% of hard defense of normal monsters, boss monsters and players when performing a physical attack.

I used devil's hand in deciding the upgrade path effect of the headgear. This is to enable the skill Sonic Wave, the same way that lion's howl is enabled by Devil's hand. While the cool down has been reduced to 0, Sonic Wave still has a after cast delay of 1second. The +9 effect is to help players get that down and they would still need gears from other areas to fully get rid of it.

 

Spamming lots of sonic wave from far range at max attack speed should be a fun spectacle to look at. At the same time, it will also hardly be broken since Sonic Wave is:

  • Single target skill
  • Low starter damage modifier of only 1375% at max level. Having this headgear puts it at 4125%, which is nothing OP (around Vanishing Point level of power with all the RG gears).
  • does not bypass flee so you still need to find ways to deal with it.
  • You still need to find ways to get rid of the 1sec cast delay to actually spam it.

It's a nice build, but technically Black Ribbon focuses on these skills; this would fall under the revision of the other hats (which apparently won't happen until we get more rebalancing).

 

**EDIT** Though maybe BR could fall under a Wind Cutter build maybe, it would be down to camp to decide on that though.

isn't the new black ribbon mostly about wind cutter? I find it hardly convincing that it focuses on sonic wave or IB. Might be the case for the older version.

I will ask camp either way so keep the build there. It's a serious flaw with the old project that we needed to do what we did. Especially in the case of a few of those hats.

There are no limit if you want to use on Spear , Sword , Mace.

 

There no endrow fire because ,for future patch that they remove fire-weapon buff.

 

also with some Perfect hits for Ignition break so It can be use on Boss that have very high flee.

Purpose:

Forces the user to go a non crit autoattack route for GX. the buffs given are good enough to bring it in parity in damage, but at the cost of having to deal with the enemy Accuracy, wich crit builds get for free. It also has some neat things for Soul Destroyer, so that you have a ranged attack option while dual wielding.

Maximum Power Thrust and Hit Barrel are removed when removing any gear by default, so there's no risk of using this as a buff hat for crit builds. Hit Barrel also comes with a Hit Rate penalty, so you may really have to invest into Hit gears to reap it's bonus damage, or sit back and not use on some fights.

Left some of the effects without the dual sword requirement so that the hat isn't completely useless otherwise.
Utilizing dual swords also limits the weapon pool of your character, putting your damage potential in check for a bit.
The skill requirements also mean that to reap full benefits of this hat, you can't just slap it on your regular all around/MA GX build, there aren't enough points to pick everything you want.

It forces the player into a tight stat and skill build, holy property element weapon and armour. It also gives you a reason to use aspersio on more elemental property enemies.
Battle Arch Bishops are the runts of the DPS family, please throw them a bone!

I am unsure if the +7 calls are possible though?


 

 

 

Difficult to say re the +7 effects, but I have a work around.

 

Make it so those effects are unlocked if you max out that particular skill, and bind them both to a successful casting of aspersio on yourself and make them last the duration of the aspersio duration. Can either remove them if you change element or allow users to then change their element afterwards via converters.

Intent: 

It remains as a single target skill. As compare to any other AOE skill sura has. this is less efficient for leveling.
it's designed to allow alternative leveling route for any Sura class with limited resources. Thus the HP leech.

it level 100, the headgear can reach it's full potential since all the required skill are within the Monk class.
As the player levels the skill becomes more friendly. with access to Rising Dragon and Gentle touch energy gain,
Zen is almost unnecessary. 

The above also allows the user to have a spam-able single target range skill, which could be useful against reflect skills monster. 
especially those who love to solo instances such as Endless Tower.
While you have access to Devil's Hand , but the reflect monsters are just spoiling your day.

*Reduce phyical damage on Player is intended as to avoid any potential abuse in WOE or PVP enviroment.

*The dual-cast idea is adapted from Picky Pecks.
Much like Picky Pecks, you will have a sura with Picky Pecks.

Physical doram has weak AOE due to large cooldown and low damage for LCB and Spirit of Savage. Why spirit of savage instead of LCB? cause its has better dmg without LCB set, no casting but sadly large cooldown. Its like mini version of gene cart cannon. Tho, its skill range is worst than the cart cannon so it balance out. (u need effort to make a line to hit the mob with high dmg) . Build idea - gather mob in a straight line -> loop to prevent hit -> strike with spirit of savage.

If user learned Spirit of Life level 1, Atk + 100, has a chance to gain [Foolhardy] for 15 seconds when dealing physical damage.
[Foolhardy]
Increases animal type skills damage by 1%, up to 100%, per 1,000 point of current HP user has while Foolhardy activates.
Attack speed + 5% per each level of Hiss user learned.
If user learned Power of Lock level 5, Perfect Hit + 50, reduces delay after skill by 50%.
Reduces casting time of animal type skills by 10% per each level of Spirit of Savage user learned.
If refine rate is 5 or higher, MaxHP/MaxSP + 7%, reduces delay after skill by 10%.

Now that Magic Strings was nerfed rebalanced, PP Doram relies even more on expensive gears for after cast delay. Since there is no word when OCP comes back, if it comes back, why not borrow the effects of a fine jRO Doram gear?

Purpose:

I thought maybe a Sorc build that still focuses on AoE skills but different game mechanics. This hat focuses on rewarding the player with increased matk over time as the player keeps dealing magic damage. I tried to put some limitations so that it's not easily broken. I also tried to make it fun and enjoyable by rewarding players with some useful buff as the player gets to get the matk buff. I also tried to put more quality of life mechanics such as movement speed, hp recover, VCT reduction, and Cooldown reduction so that the user can focus on always trying to hit monsters with AoE to maintain the matk buff.

 

The max matk from this hat is 560 but I think I did okay offsetting the seemingly significant 560 matk increase by putting some restrictions on gear and buff chances and durations.

because there's no more OCP for us. thus community headgear?

or the same intend as the preivous community headgear, an alternative but subpar to what an OCP has to offer.

their direction will determine how over power these community should be.
some of the proposed headgear i'm looking at looks like a S class OCP

it depend on WP ,no way they not going to sell cash items
like shadow armor or even there own ocp

if hat got nerf to the points that just useless then all of this are useless. Power level now compare to all ocp we got

Previous community headgear will be buffed/changed when we get more rebalance stuff from what I understand.

 

As for the proposals, take the builds as the idea. They won't get in as shown here, they will be stress tested in sakray if they make it and still be subject to WP discretion.

 

The original headgear was take alternative/unused builds or leveling alternatives. This time you can do what you want but it will still be balanced before live. This part of the stage is to sell your idea, the top choice of each idea will then be submitted to kRO as the direction of the item. The only few things were to make sure you didn't copy a build already in use by the current set of community headgears.

 

If you are concerned over the ideas; throw some of your own in. Though just to be clear; while I cannot vouch for all entries, a lot of people submitting who frequent the discord are keeping the idea of including OCP and in game items useful when approaching the submission.
