So months and months go and you guys still refuse to provide anything on this.


What is being done/will be done for the value loss on VIP after the hiatus/this year.


Last year was when you finally buffed up the VIP exp/drop rates to meaningfull amounts where it was worth using again (because current vip is nearly useless if not for the selectable exp on quest boards)

That increased rate has been reverted

You now lost value on buying VIP, as with the 1500wpe package you could get 30days VIP + 1500kp. Currently 1500wpe will get you 1650kp, wich buying 3x 10 days VIP boxes will leave you with 900kp only.



It has become more expensive and gives lesser bonuses.


And i'll start to get really annoying with these posts if you want to keep ignoring them.

what if we got free value add service on when vip mode on

like gender change, move char to another account, change name, etc

will be vip good upgrade

the simple fact that a 30 days vip +1500kp package matches so very well with the new Yggdrasil Ascension system in that you get it's halfway prize every month if you VIP makes it even more enticing to spend money into.



Not like they are worried about a financial loss it seems, as regional pricing ratios have reached the old status quo where some peole are rmting straight up WPE points directly.

correct, it's an item from the KP shop now, and can be vended/traded between players.

That's the only benefit of the new vip system, it makes it eliminates the risk for those that used to buy WPE from other players using zeny to VIP their accounts. They also lost value with the update, but it stings even more for those that would directly buy WPE to VIP their accounts.

welp, at least they could add 30/60/90 days on a reasonable price and increase the exp/drop bonus or add extra features :x

What I suggest they can do is to add 1500kp+3 box in their purchase menu (warpportal Website) and will only be available once a month. And that 3 box will automatically redeemed through npc redeemer.

100% support. I've stopped buying VIP because it doesnt give enough. My characters are mostly maxed and i would only want the VIP for increased drops. Bring back 100% and you'll have much more VIP buyers for sure.

If the initial reason to reduce VIP benefits was to make people spend more money, then I say, revert drop rate to precious rate and increase VIP price. That is, if most people buy VIP for the drop increase.

i don't mind this one, in fact it could increase to 200% exp 100% drop cuz honestly even x3 is still to slow to enjoy this old grindy game, but also i would like to know whats the stand of GM team about giving more for vip

I don't know about Chaos/Thor servers, but at least on Transcendence, it only takes a non-VIP bot a few hours to farm loot and sell to a npc to be able to afford a 10-day VIP. I'm basing this off of my experience with my near naked bard making around 500k zeny an hour at Tamruans. VIPs here cost around 1.3m give or take. I'm sure bots can do better than me. So it's absolutely worth it for them to VIP.

Bots farming items to sell to get VIP is normal. Unless iRO becomes a little bit more of P2W, and make VIP account bound, bots or F2P players can always get VIP or anything in game, which is why iRO is far from P2W.

I don't have any acknowledgement about how to create anti-cheat software, but this traditional method isn't working, I think it's time to use the new technology like self learning, they could create something like a "token" that changes from time to time once the software is running in the game, teach the software new ways to detect bot programs and learn from it, I don't know, but we need to think something about this.
