I started in this server as a mage, favorite class and had no much experience, you can imagine hoy much a pain in the a** was to reach max lvl and gear up without spending money (my economical situation isn't the best), but was this difficulty the reason im unable to play p servers again, tried to go to nova ro where everything is more '' player friendly'' but got bored a week later after reaching max lvl, was the harsh grind and the need for gears what made me understand the game deeply, back in other pserver I reached 160 without set, but was because I was being carried all time the reason I was such an inexperienced player, was the solo experience what made me really appreciate ragnarok online, and the reason I'm unable to change server.

Or, you know, people who actually have fulfilling lives outside of the computer having their priorities straight and consider this thing what it actually is: a game, not a job, to occasionally pay a pittance to for 2 hours of non-lethal adrenalin and oxytocin rush.

I’m not really in the mood for firing shots, just calling it like it is. If you actually enjoy this game as it is now, more power to you, if not, then go demand changes. Those guys are on a payroll after all; they’re paid to take the heat, put up with it, and actually do their goddamn jobs, or else.

As far as I can tell though, it’s boring not because it doesn’t grant prizes for gratification. It’s boring because it’s -_- routine.

iro players: the guys who really want to play here, must live the inferno first from comunity and WP, no party, no guild, no free items, because that is good and teaching.

also kro: free leveling sets for every body ^^

While I don't agree with the idea that the best in slot equipment or those key items as you call it should be readily available, I think IRO should really update its freebies for new players or even give easy leveling equips like those in kRO or jRO, https://forums.warpp...o-level-up-box/, although that one was from 2017 or something similar/ tailored to iRO. This will allow players to enjoy endgame content earlier and have access to somewhat decent equips.

 

Hopefully, this will encourage people to play again. I get that grinding is part of the game and this is already an old game but end game content is also part of it and the updates are more focused on the end game. This way, players would at least get a chance to reach end game and try the content.

I actually have lots of good items that I don't use and too lazy to sell because I quit. I really wanna give BiD items to new players. Problem is, so rare to find new players and knowing iRO community, there will be the shameless opportunists hahaha

1. I spent WP/KP and nobody wants to buy Kachua loot, still there over one week.
2. The same happen to farming, i got cards from 17.1 Illusion and nobody wants to buy, even with 50% OFF (WTF).
3. Spending over 3 hours looking for party is not good lol

i guess you don't even try what you are saying now, maybe works years ago. And even spending KP to earn money it has non-sense, the amount of money you spend is not worth versus what you get. Key Gears are fundamental in this weird meta. Pservers do it and has 5k players playing happy

1)Warpportal really believe people are still buying ' Magic Stones ' for 100 kp and ' Chick Hat' for 500 kp.

 New players want to test, want to try, so is very dumb try to sell for KP crap items, like 'Chick Hat' and etc for ton of money, so probably he won't pay anything and actually go to play lol.
 to atract players and make it stay, let them try for free enjoy, it's very hard pass from 100 to 175 for a new player so probably he quits when he can't kill some mob.
How you can do that, re thinking some of KP stuffs and why not bring Kro free gears to level up.

Given you get to use the highest level of Double Attack if learned then your best use would come down to thief class (Rogue, Assassin).
With level 10 Double Attack you can use double attack level 10 with an Assassin using Katars and on a Rogue if you are using a Bow.


Maybe other classes that have autoattack builds can use it but these are the best idea that comes to mind given they learn Double Attack level 10 as Thief

Actually, you might buy Neuralizer box for 400 kp, sell that to any player for 350 millions and with that Zeny buy Snake Head (180 millions average) wich gives you level 5 Double Attack, Snake Head is way better than Chick Hat and still have some Z to buy any other decent gear. I can say is almost a scam to newie player who don't know the game sell for 500 kp a useless item like Chick Hat for that.
Not surprise if some passive old players here to come and say, yeah bruh is a good i tem for start blablabla, yes it was, 12 years ago, now is useless and  don't worth anything.

nope is for classes who don't learn Double Attack, also, no sense to kill 1 by 1 for leveling, maybe from level 1 to 10, because you are forced and no aoe skill is learned yet.
edit i forgot you can use it to any weapon when worm the hat, but i still believe don't worth for a newie player.

Basically everything can be summarized to new ppl having to spend money bc otherwise they'll take forever to "catch up" and i'm using quotes bc in every instance you need to spend money anyway to actually catch up to the whales of the game gear wise.

Ultimately RO has become a gacha game, the question is why would ppl put up with it when they can just go and play much better gacha games [snip], the answer is that they don't which is why the population never increases and it's mostly maintained by bots

how about a clean wipe of server and start from 17.1 onwards with every one start off at level 1 noobs

 

Either people move on from the fact that, this server is too old

Just wipe it off... or best, GM will just open another server let you guys start from same line and close it off in time to come.

More like prefering another Gacha game after not even considering iRO's gacha game. The problem with whales in here is more bc the game is P2W unlike other gacha games which aren't about competition in the first place.

New chaos server would serve no purpose unless the P2W elements are removed, which are basically the main source of income for the game so...
